Poll: At the end of this season who will be considered the Raps best player?

Right now, Pascal but everybody & they momma knows it will be Scottie in due time.

why is Fred in the poll? honest question.

Probably because he was our clear-cut best player for almost half of last season. Even when Siakam started to really put together some great games in late December/early January, FVV was in the middle of an 8-game stretch where he averaged 31/5/8 on 65 TS%.

FVV first 41 games: 22/5/7 on 58 TS%
Siakam first 41 games: 21/8/5 on 55 TS%

Siakam will almost certainly be our best player this season, but it's silly to act like there is no point in even having FVV in the poll when he was our 2nd best player last season and was the main reason we didn't fall completely out of the playoff race in the first two months.

Pecking order isn't going to change this szn nor do I believe it should. Scottie still has to overcome the sophomore slump, still has to prove last year wasn't a fluke all while making a jump. Year 3 Scottie can leap frog someone, won't be this year tho.

Depending on where things are at, we might be putting more focus on Scottie, but Pascal will still be the best player by the end of this season.
