gettin really bad vibes from this herro guy... i feel like the heat should just let this guy walk... guy has bust written all over him... had one good rookie season and has dissappeared since. as soon as the heat max this guy, i fully expect this guy to turn into a diva of some sort... trade requests, social media trouble (already happening LOL)... , lockerroom trouble... ect...

He's never been a bad lockerroom guy. The issues with the team has always been basketball. Before last season they didnt think he was putting enough work in the gymn to get stronger. And its fair to say he shouldn't get longterm deal because he stunk in the playoffs. But the diva stuff is just stuff you are making up. Just say you don't like the dude and keep it moving

It's a little late for him to bust. At this point absent a serious injury his floor is quality rotation player. Either a starter or first or second guy off the bench. As for the rest you are probably right.

I don't think it's outrageous to say that he likely turns into a full blown diva. His ego appears to exceed his talent. IMO the only thing controlling his behavior now is that he hasn't been paid yet. We'll all find out soon enough.

i would say i didnt like him, if it were true... but its not... i dont have any issue with the guy, nor do i care how many times he cheats on his GF... only thing i care bout is that he isnt performing on the court... hes so bad that he has literally no trade value and the reason mitchell is not in heat uniform right now... he is free to prove me wrong though, im a heat fan and would like to see that happen.

I'd say let's go to the Ayton route and let the QO dictates how much Tyler should have.

It may be ugly and affect our play next season, but this is also the way to extend him cheap when he plays subpar again in the PO. If he steps it up and gets a 127 mil offer then sure.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

If the Heat sign him now then they can trade him next summer. It will keep him here this year but next summer he would be eligible to be traded. If he is a restricted free agent it would be very tough to trade him.

Meanwhile I'm preparing for the backlash when the Heat trade for Westbrook to clear cap space for Herro extension

I dont really agree with this line of thinking. Think about it, right now he is looking at a 30 mil a year starting contract, say he has a good playoffs, that number is going to jump. People always forget the market over pays since all it takes is one team to over pay. The only thing the Sun achieved going the Ayton route is pay him for just 4 years instead of 5. The problem is the new CBA will come into play and in the long run they will end up paying more since his contract ends one year earlier.

I think the ability to trade him by the All-star break can also be a benefit from Heat perspective. If he plays well in the playoffs and carries us then sure he deserves the money.

Lets not forget that we might've taken KZ Okpala 13th if Herro wasn't available.

He literally just won 6MOY last year. The playoffs were underwhelming, but I would say the same about every other player on this team not named Jimmy Butler.

For the life of me, I don't know if I will ever be able to understand, all the herro hate

Help me... is it found within his name ... because he is white or Hispanic?
or is it in his game because he's a youth , not a good Defender or dribbler?

Return to Miami Heat
