Someone has to explain me why:

Willy is not getting 30 minutes game in the pels ( for the 82 games)

Juancho is not geting his 25 minutes wherever he is

Garuba has not had even a fair chance on a rockets team that is TANKING.

and specially why are not the 30 gms already making calls to alberto Diazs agent, in order to sign him so he can pester rival pgs for 15 minutes each game.

No more like you live by the 3s,you die by the 3s. They stopped getting hot, Schroeder couldn't score easily inside anymore. Spain defence, rebounding was more important.

The refs are not the reason they couldn't score last 2 minutes, Theis missed layups.

Time to put Franz in bubblewrap. This has been great experience for that young man.

He´s a great young player.
Him and Banchero will be a hell of a duo.

Willy because this today Nba is so fast about switchs, be versatile his role is not bad a scorer of the bench he is not good enough on defense as a starter he should play more btw.

Juancho should have a role in every team a versatile SF/PF who can shoot and is a good team player is always a good value.

Garuba doesn't make sense at all because Houston is a disfunctional franchise should be and because he has been injured too but still don't use him a game in the start of the season. The guy dominated in the Playoffs of the Euroleague versus the Champions with 18 years he dominated every U tournament with Spain and he has tools of an special special player how understand the game on both sides expecially on defense for a 20 year old is amazing and he have winner heritage. It's the best prospect that Real Madrid created with Luka

Scariolo is mine. That man is a maestro. This is the second big tournament so far where we were written off because of supposedly weak roster. Scariolo said "well, let's see about that".

Spain sunk low by recruiting Brown as an obvious injury substitute for Rubio. OTOH, good for him, getting a late chance on the international stage, and Spain for having the move pan out. The fact that he has zero Spanish connection, does open the door to more of this nonsense. Atleast hopefully he retires in Spain.

Nevertheless, Germany seemed a bit baffled by Spain's defense, and Schroder had to do a bit too much as the sole orchestrator until Franz starting finding a rhythm. Too little, too late.

I don't care about Brown but I like Wily,Juancho,Garuba, Rudy Fernandez,Diaz etc
France are boring to watch, they are winning games only because of their defence, size, their frontline. Their team play offensively is not fun to watch. I'm rooting for Spain all the way. It is not the usual stars, old generation of Spain but more younger players, lesser version of old players like Rudy.

Wait, Lorenzo Brown is THAT Lorenzo Brown from NC State I used to be mildly intrigued by when he was a draft prospect? I kinda assumed he was some young-ish half-Spanish-half-American player who played for some Spanish team (I don't really follow Euroleague these days).

Can someone give me the cliff notes version of why he's playing for Spain? What's his link with the country?

I didn't t say the refs were the reason Germany lost. Just surprised that Spain was allowed to be more physical than Germany. A lot of soft foul calls on Germany like the block on Garuba. On the other hand Theis got fouled at least 3 times at the rim that were not called.

Well, of course. He has built great teams, stars or no stars. And the results are undeniable.

But I'll stick with Díaz, if only because I hadn't seen much of him before and boy, what a revelation. Plus he seems like a great guy from his interviews and behavior on the court.

None whatsoever. He was a solid Euroleague player willing to renounce his US citizenship for a starting role on a Eurobasket NT. Spain needed a PG. They got it done without ever even bringing him to Spain.

Scariolo coached him with the Raptors. That must be his lone connection.

Germany 12/13 FT in the first half; Spain 2/2. Final Germany 12/13 FT, Spain 14/14. Guess things evened out in the 2nd half?
