Makes no sense. Presumably LW4 and Schroeder signed because they were told they'd get playing time.

Russ sucks
Nunn has a knee injury that never healed
Reaves is still young
Bev is old

they need all the depth they need

This really made me think Russ has to be on the way out. Pat Bev, Dennis, Nunn.. thinking WB is the odd man out.

I wonder if Kendrick Nunn is healthy or not. There would be no other reason to sign a point guard unless they know Kendrick Nunn may still be unavailable going forward.

People over complicate things. Dennis and the lakers have been talking for months. Timing is clearly about him trying to see if he could get more than the minimum anywhere, seeing if he could create a buzz from his Euro play. Buzz isn’t there so time to settle for the offer from the Lakers now.

There’s another very obvious reason, Russ and Lakers agreeing that he’ll be away from the team like many other players/teams have done when they’re not a good fit.

Didn't they already say that Westbrook will start on the team? I'm quite sure that hasn't changed far as we know.

It looks like it could be heading that way. I posted on the trades and transactions board that I think the Lakers are deciding on what to do with their picks depending on how the team looks at the deadline. If Lebron/Davis are playing like all NBA players, you might do the Hield/Turner trade.

Bev/Hield/James/Davis/Turner is a playoff closing lineup. Flip Nunn and/or Walker for a bigger wing and you got something good.

But if James or Davis isn't playing at an elite level, no need to waste the picks. At that point, your not going anywhere.

Who knows, season isn’t close to starting. But this makes it easier to make the decision to sit Russ if they decide to go that way.

lol, I didn't need an analysis of everyone's weaknesses. and Schroeder has crap motor and vision and LW4 can't defend or really shoot

my point is there's a major roster imbalance and two of those guys signed with the intention of playing a lot and boosting their value. so the math doesn't add up

also, technically there are SEVEN guards on the roster if you count Christie, even though he won't play

this is full Knicks power forward mode

Lakers are also considering using Austin Reaves as a wing/3 player according to Stein.

This organization since that Westbrook trade has been on some serious crack lol.
