Auction off Cole or Markelle and something little to bring In Dennis? He's young enough to fit in with our current roster right? It's a nice gesture to please our best player (Franz) and obviously a nice upgrade at the PG.

Nope. After making a mistake with his last contract, he's looking out for himself right now.

If you thought Cole was a ball hog, our young core might never see the ball again.

He would have been great addition in 2018 when we had Gordon, Vuc, Evan, Isaac.

Now we have too many guards that have to prove they are "point"- guards.

Because he's essentially the worst kind of player you can put next to young players you are trying to develop offensively. Especially young players you'd like to develop on-ball/playmaking skills with.

DS is someone who commands 25% usage rates and will dominate the ball offensively. He'd soak up shot attempts and have everyone on this board pulling their hair out 10 games into the season.

It's such a hard pass it's not even funny for me. There's a reason why contending teams haven't even wanted to touch him.
