Spain deserved to win and ... Congratulations Mr Scariolo!! The real MVP. You give him 11 best spanish guys available, he choose really well the 12d with L Brown, and even if this team was not made with great players (except Rudy), he won with very good coaching.

I knew I should have put money on Spain to win the final, you can't beat such a well coached team like Spain who are used to winning big games when you average 20 turnovers per game and don't have even a half-decent offensive plan. France's offense was an embarrassment all tournament.

Well he looked unplayable on offense when he was able to get out there between injuries and all the bigs they had on the team last year but he was also way too heavy and looked in bad shape.

Next year he just has to beat out Boban and Bruno Fernando to get the bulk of the backup C minutes

How did Juancho play in previous games ? He was the difference maker in this one, but Willy who looked like a total stiff won MVP.

So group A was not so weak as some claimed. Both Turkey and Spain outplayed this France team.

Thanks all for making this thread so popular and amazing, we had late bump in a road with all naturalization thing, we talked who will respect Spanish medals and who wont, it was stupid, it was mean some times, we had maybe a one persona non grata appear, a few trolls maybe at best, overall, mostly 140 pages of awesome.

Juancho was ok, WIlly and Brown were best players through out. Lorenzo Brown really should have been an MVP, but.. you know.

Pretty well in the elimination games. Willy has been more consistent. Top scorer and rebounder of Spain

Willy has been more consistent. Both deserves the trophy
