The mavs should definitely pick this guy up and have him ready to take this shot after Luka dribbles around and if he can’t get his shot -

Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

If he adds a first round pick to his shot, Danny Ainge will take him to run the PG next season.

Good for him. I'd be paying for a personal trainer too if I had his type of money.

The dude is in his mid 60s, of course he's not going to have a lightning quick release.

I believe Memphis' owner also works out with the team a lot (he's in his late 30s I believe)

Good to see owners who care about the game instead of just buying a team for bragging rights.

Yeah, it's cool that he enjoys the game.

I don't expect a team owner to be a good basketball player and I don't look at a video like this to judge his skills. But I do find it appealing that he's in the gym getting some shots up and working with a trainer just for the fun of it.

But the OP describing it as "pro-like consistency," ironic or not, kind of invites ridicule.

I think OP was a bit hyperbolic, yes, obviously can't say pro like consistency unless we see like 100 uncut shots, and he's at least hitting like 65% which would put him at the low end of pro like shooting, which is like pre-draft Austin Rivers level in an open gym at game speed (that is Cuban's game speed at his age).

BUT, sometimes I just ignore the hyperbolic statements, though people should learn that it will taint the kind of responses you get.

He’s waived guards with worse shooting mechanics tbh. Not bad. Shows how good pro training for shooting has gotten

Many un-athletic kids learn to stop trying to tag along with the jocks around the 10th grade. But not NBA owners who made their money in tech...

Not impressed. The guy has been an owner of an NBA team for how long? And hes becoming proficient at shooting just now?

I'd like to see God age the realgm critics to 65, then they have to beat cuban in a 1 on 1 to get their youth back. You get spotted 1 bucket. 3totheheadmelo, how confident are you now?

Un Sof, you can play as you are right now, but will age up to Cuban should you lose to him. You need to win by 2, but Cuban only needs to win by one, because why not.

I mean the form looks good, but how much can you really tell from a video showing only makes. You can probably make a similar video with me in a gym and I'd look like a decent or lights out shooter. I am not.

"Didn't want to leave the court"

I'm pretty sure that's his home gym and he took 40 steps to head to his shower and then straight to his bed. If I had a home basketball court I would spend hours there, as well.

It against the NBA's rules for a player to have an ownership stake in a team , Jordan had to sell his stake in the Wizards when he unretired to be allowed to play again
