Which trio would you take for one postseason in today's game? 2006 Wade/Dirk/Duncan or 2022 Curry/Giannis/Jokic?

This is just way too lopsided. Giannis, Curry and Jokic all are going to be top 15 all-time by the looks of it, Curry top 10. Also, much, much better fit the second trio, not only on defense, but also on offense. This is a landslide despite Duncan being the best player, and especially since you mentioned that for today's game. Duncan wouldn't have nearly as good of a career if he started out today.

Depends on which team Tim Donaghy places his bet.

Yeah, this seems way too lopsided in favor of Curry/Giannis/Jokic. Basically perfect perimeter/interior offensive synergy and passing. Even their biggest weakness (Jokic defending in space) can't be fully taken advantage of by the other trio because it's not like Wade was some prolific pick & roll ball-handler.

I can't even begin to comprehend the level of offense of a team with Curry/Giannis/Jokic. They might score on 80% TS or something.

I mean Dirk is my boy, and I have all the respect in the world for Timmy and the 06 version of DWade, but yeah you got to go with the 3 best players in the world atm on this one. I mean you win the title either way, but if both trios were in the league, you got to go with 2022 guys.

The rules have changed too much between these combos. On surface the 2006 squad would win more.
