The I wasn't confident that the AV/HDMI converters would actually work. My research about that left me skeptical.
Sounds like I need to learn how to cast/connect computer to TV for one thing. The computer closest to our TV
is a fairly old iMac and the newer is located in a different room. What are the range limits for cast/connect?

Thanks again.

Anyone in your house happen to own a PlayStation or Xbox? Those should okay dvds as well

Nope. Kids both moved out.

I see. Well you could buy a bluray player. Although I wonder why you want to see a DVD in 2022. Is this footage you recorded? If its just a movie I'd just google the movie name + streaming and see what service you can stream it on.

I tried to go to this festival over the weekend and it was more of an s-show than the story lets on.

There’s a new game of thrones prequel called House of The Dragon. I haven’t seen it yet though

It's not bad. And apparently HBO pushed the debut to beat Amazon's LOTR project to air.

It's very good so far it's based on the Targaryen history book GRRM wrote. The book was based off second hand tales of the happenings. But this is a definite telling GRRM worked on it home self.

Thinking of going to the O's game 9/9.

Using my motorcycle to get there is one option. I'm wondering what I might
be able to get away with as far as parking goes with the motorcycle.

I'm quite surprised that O's are actually in contention to make playoffs.

House of Dragons. It's basically GOT, minus the novelty, and literally every character has an Edgar Winter haircut.

Late to the Tim Dillion scene. Honestly believe he is the comedian we need in these times of division. He’s a gay insult comic, who (like Colbert before him) points to how absurd our reality is by taking current views to their ultimate extremes. And he makes us cry laughing at both sides.

Very excited and pleased to have our solar system activated yesterday. Got a cool
little app (or can use webpage) to monitor net usage.

Alex Ovechkin was/is such a transcendent athlete that he managed to get a championship in a DC franchise

I saw a report on the news last night that the water temp in the gulf is 89 deg F.
That's freakin' hot and a eff-ton of energy. No wonder Ian may hit Cat5.

I figure with global warming we will eventually get Category 6 and 7 hurricanes in the gulf. You know, permanent storms that just become terrain features like Jupiter's red spot.

Maybe we can stick a wind farm in the middle of it and solve the world's energy needs.

I was a USAF typhoon forecaster and meteorological satellite coordinator for AKFN (Armed Forces Korea Network circa 90s). I was on 24-hr call to duty whenever storms of severe categories spun. The daunting task of doing 2 or 3 jobs at once PLUS plotting and predicting storm track and intensity back then was tenuous.

Talk about burning out! God alone knows the storm’s future.

Careful.

Your great, humanitarian suggestion might cut into an energy baron pusher’s avarice and greed profits.
