Most positions in an NBA organization are NOT public, in any form. Come on. General manager? Sure. How do we know this? Because when a team hires a GM, or President or Personnel, or Lead Scout, there's a press release. I worked for the Sixers for two years, trust, you've NEVER heard of me. LOL

1. Mostly know people with similar low intelligence and education levels
2. Make poor decisions
3. Not understand things that’s a pretty clear and straight forward and are unwilling to learn/grow
4. Get divorced at a higher rate

Therefor there’s no surprise that Antinomy is struggling to grasp these simple divorce concepts. I think he's saying there have been multiple coaches and executives who banged subordinates or associates of the organization and it's not newsworthy there so why here?

I agree it shouldn't be newsworthy, I feel like this is a violation of all the employee's privacy.

However whomever is the one higher up the ladder in the org should be fired though for improper conduct, and I'm sure the other employees have a good case on their hand for a lawsuit for gross mistreatment.

You can't really give consent to your boss, the power imbalance is too great. Part of the reason almost every company has this as a fireable offense I would assume in the world.

I don't like that we know it's for sex with multiple married people who may or may not be employees or may or may not be working beneath him in the ladder (I haven't bothered to figure it out, I'm guessing the full details will be known in a couple of days and I'm too busy slacking with fantasy football to look into this one today lol).

I guess, the right way would have just been suspended due to violation of team policy. And no more details revealed. Or improper conduct whatever the right term is. We shouldn't know his personal life that he cheated let alone know he had multiple relations within the org, but know he must have done "something" under a wide umbrella of possibilities.

Of course that begs who checks on the org to make sure the punishment is valid and on that front I'm not sure. Supposedly you can sue for unlawful firing but this is America so I doubt employees get any rights protected in reality. But you get the gist.

So I don't think it's a matter of him wanting to cheat on his fiance so much as being on the road with attractive women who are seeing if he wants to come to their hotel room and getting friendly with him over time. Which doesn't excuse it at all but I wouldn't lay it all at his feet either. Takes two to tango.

I don't know exactly what he did, I also don't know what his contract states in terms of conduct or what corporate law says - if it's bad enough to get suspended for a year then it's bad enough to be a fireable offense

Sure. As noted, it's consensual. But it's all about clout and even celebrity.

It's a much worse look for the guy shown on tv 73 times every game compared to the person sitting at their desk or whatever behind the scenes.

Yea it's a tough spot when your that public. A one year suspension for violating team policy would still cause a media frenzy. Would lead to tons of speculation and I feel it would be damn near impossible for the organization to keep the truth from getting out, as I'm sure at least several employees must have had some idea of what went down.

That’s my thing. This dude is a millionaire, on national TV regularly, runs in pretty substantial circles and is AT MINIMUM attractive enough to pull Nia Long and be her Fiance. He literally could have chosen almost any other woman on earth - and many of them would have been down with it, married people not - and he would not be suspended today. He chose one of the only 5-10 women on EARTH that could potentially ruin his career by sleeping with her.

I think what people are missing is it wasn't consensual to the other parties involved soon to be wives or husbands..

If it was that simple it wouldn't be a big deal...but the truth is he wrecked other people's lives.

He deserves to be fired for his actions and blackballed from the league.

Cheating is a.terrible thing that does so much harm to the lives of the people it effects.
