But the Bulls wont sell cheap either so unless we are willing to give up 3+ unprotected first round draft picks + swaps it’s a moot point. Thats assuming the Bulls even have interest in our players, which means no net negative players like Duncan and that another team doesn’t trump our offer.

Yea they’re not getting that for a 33 year old Derozan with 1 year after next year on his deal.

Then they won't move him. The whole DeRozan idea is unrealistic, there's 0 chance of it happening.

I guarantee if the Bulls are struggling and it looks like a failed experiment and Derozan wants out he’s trade for less the 3 unprotected 1sts and multiple picks swaps.

The issue about Miami's trades are that there's a timeline they're on with their players under contract. Miami is currently just a little bit under the tax with 14 active roster spots taken and have none of the large contracts expiring and a whole lot of high value contracts expiring, something big has to be done by the deadline because if they don't, they're going to be looking to offload salary vs get equal value or assets with some trades and offloading salaries may cost Miami some assets.

Yes, I think a team of Lowry, Oladipo, Butler, DeRozan, Bam, Martin and whoever else has a very legit chance at winning a championship in the next 2-3 years and unless you have a top MVP candidate on your team, that's really the best you can ask for.

Even you have to admit there’s a little player homerism going on with that projection. You’d be banking on Oladipo going back to Indiana Dipo and relying on a 6’6 pf duo. Even if we hit on both im not convinced thats a team that could even get through Milwaukee unless Bam becomes a different player.

Homerism no, but I am banking on Oladipo after having the correct surgery and finally having a real offseason to work on his game while healthy to get him back to being a very good player. I'm just hoping\expecting to see OKC version of Oladipo although I can hope his offense will be better since he did progress as a scorer since his time in OKC which was mostly because of that off the dribble 3pt shot he got better at which opened up his game more.

I do have some concerns with Oladipo looking at this ORTG and DRTGs but have a high belief in a really good coach like Spoelstra maximizing him as a 2 way player.

You want him for a reason. Other teams with better assets would him want for the same reason as well. Miami will get outbid IF Derozan gets on the trading block. Other teams are trying to get better too and will have better offers.

Don’t extend him and if we decide to keep him just match his cheaper, shorter offer sheet next summer.
When Heat went after Derozan last year that was the final sign for me that the Heat were not committed to Herro

It’s not that simple with Herro unless they are able to get off Lowry and Robinson’s deal. Micky is going to have a massive tax bill gun to his head one way or another. There’s no in between here. A trade needs to be made whether to accomdate Herro’s salary next year or he’s traded with Lowry or Robinson of both before the deadline.
I expect all three and more will be traded

If Heat decides to move Herro for picks I think Charlotte Hornets would do a destination for Herro.

Only time will tell, I want him for a reason because he’d be our clear cut 3rd best player and make the team better. He’s also a realistic target with Herro as the main piece as we’ve seen he’s not attractive for younger stars. I don’t think we’ll have many competitors for him.

Sarver forced to sell.

Udoka suspended for a year.

Meanwhile, Plumpkin keeps cashing those checks.

Are we sure he didn’t sexually harass Burnie?

Need to find any way to void that bloated contract.

Its becoming painfully obvious that it will take more than just one first round draft pick to move Duncan

Even an OKC Oladipo would require an elevated Bam to contend. Do you think he’s up for that? Can he be a legit all around top 10-12 guy or do you think he’ll be the “best defender in the world” with hot and cold offense

This is going to be Bams best season if ICC is right about our defensive scheme. Hell solidify himself as the 3rd best center and top 20 player. Jimmy will be top 10
