The fact that KD was upset that the team seemed content on waiting til he came back during that 10 game losing streak, and weren't finding ways to win without him, is an indictment against Steve Nash. That is a valid criticism and its one that I wish was put out there earlier.

He should not be coaching this team.

Steve Nash should have been fired back in May. Joe Tsai and Sean Marks' loyalty to Nash is appalling.

Don't want to be too critical since I missed KD's segment and I'd need some context, but saying the guys should have fought more is a bit... cringe. I don't think effort was really the issue, it circles back to Nash.

It wasn't cringe at all. He wasn't talking about effort - it was everything. Coaching, roster building, team expectations, etc.

Ok, that's why I said I needed context, thanks lol. Thing is whenever I see someone talking about a team fighting I'm assuming the person is talking about oncourt effort.

I'm feeling better about this team.

It would have been worse if KD/Kyrie/Simmons denied everything like many players do.

Its better that they admit what happened last year and say they are ready to move on.

Hopefully we can put all this drama behind us. The team looks fully healthy finally.

So is the pretext that Nash is KD's pick course correcting itself? its truly Tsai/Marks thats preventing a real coach to be coaching us?

I'm at work & couldn't hear the interviews, but effort was an issue, headlined by a trade requesting Harden. Nobody was stepping up in that stretch.

Really clear that not just the on court fit but the personality mix of the team is so much better than last year.

Guys like Royce and Kieff can really add to team chemistry and professionalism element.

It's 100 percent on Nash. KD is right, good teams find ways to win even when guys are out. Nash basically threw up his hands and gave up during that losing streak.
