I'd love a Dallas reunion too. We have less issues matching salary, but we don't have just a ton of incentive. Miami will probably figure out a way to get him back, because Riley....

Think it's near impossible for Miami unless this drags out until January due to matching salary

STILL no timetable for his return. Sheesh.

Wasn’t there a setback that they definitely didn’t want to call a setback? Even with that… hard to see how this is from the ACL tear more than two years ago

Was there a setback in the offseason?

I feel like we were told on here over and over that he was ready to come back last year, but they were tanking, so they held him out. Seems like that was maybe not the case if he isn't ready 5 months later.

They hated each other from actions that stemmed from their exact same us-vs-world mentality while they were on other sides of the fence.

So it kind of make sense now they are on the same side

I'm not surprised from Beverley's point of view, as he always puts his team and even fans before hinself.

I'm shocked Russ, with his ego, has been able to put anything to the side, but, he's probably realizing his value is essentially non existent

I've never heard anyone question Westbrook's work ethic. Ego and self awareness seem to be his biggest issues. Well, that and his jumper.

Thybulle, Springer and Korkmaz would work for Philly with the hardcap and could be spun into a 3 teamer. I think the value and need is their from Philly…

Who else gives a '23 1st for Crowder?

Regardless of whether they can get a 1st elsewhere, it's pretty tough to imagine them taking on that salary.

The problem is the Suns have Cam Johnson already, they're a well over the cap team, and Robinson is overpaid solution to a problem they don't have. Once Dipo is eligible to be traded, it might be willing to circle back around, but both of these teams need help at PF so a 3rd team would help here.

So, Indy is only bringing 18 to camp to focus on those guys. The cynic in me calls BS on that. Anyone know of other teams that went short in camp of roster spots throughout, in the recent past?

Yeah, smells fishy, especially when you can invite an Exhibit 10 player to camp for a mere $50K, and have the option to invite them to your GLeague team after camp. Skipping 2 spots saves them only $100K

Heck, there are a number of players who started their careers as an Exhibit 10, including Brissett, who is currently in the Pacer's rotation

Yup. And, they’ve already churned through a bunch of exhibit 10 signings that they’re just not bringing to camp? So, the $50k bonuses are still being paid (and they don’t even count against the cap).

Just weird, is all.

yeah, weird to not just want the bodies around for live action stuff, ingoring the possibility you find a diamond in the rough. Wonder what the upside of not doing it is? maybe they have some rods in the fire trades that they need roster spots for and don't want to spend the $100k now just to waive them?

Would Sacramento give Keegan Murray to Indiana for two unprotected firsts?

I just think Murray would fit perfectly in Indiana.
I'm not sure what else Indiana could throw in that Sacramento would want.

(If not, what about 2 plus a lotto protected first = 2.5 LoL)
