So much negativity around a team that has done so well with the exception of one Game 7 lol.

He got his way financially so he should!
He got a max deal from a team and a coaching staff that didn't seem to like him very much that also appeared to not want to sign him to a max deal.

Suns fans living in their short high of a winning team. can't blame them. reality will hit them sooner than later. I'd say give them max 5 years before they back in the lottery.

What did the Suns expect was going to happen?

Except he didn't. The Suns forced him to go to RFA where they matched the max offer that the market set for him, but the Suns could have offered an extra year if they were to offer him a max but they didn't. Him getting his way would have been getting the full five year max.

The Suns really feel like last year's Jazz team.

Did you really quote me to tell me that Ayton signed a max offer sheet that PHX matched just to tell me he didn't get a max deal because it wasn't the 5yr max deal PHX could've but didn't sign him to even though I said it appeared they didn't want to sign him to a max deal (which he ended up getting from a non PHX team but they ended up matching the max offer sheet deal)?
Market dictated max deal that PHX didn't want to do.
But but it was only a 4yr max not 5yr max... Ok...

Can't trade him until December? January? Also he has say on his destination for a year, right?

LOL, you are probably not old enough to know Suns were one of the teams with most wins in NBA history before Sarver took over, who is now selling the team to most likely someone willing to spend. Even if that's not the case Suns still have a good core of young players.
