Due to the abysmal media coverage of this team, which is likely the fault of the organization, this may not be much of a thread. Camp practices are underway across the league. Practice notes and recaps, in some form or another (beat writers, team media....), can be found for nearly every team. Not Detroit. They did practice yesterday. But there is literally only one thing to be found anywhere that confirms it. This single tweet from Keith Langlois.

Pistons should force Kemba to join the team and send him to the G-League. After a while, he will be willing to take a massive paycut to leave the team!

The beat writers working for other companies are way better to follow:

@JLEdwardsIII
@KuKhalil
@omarisankofa

Etc. They had some combo of clips/pics plus an interview with bojan.

Just your friendly annual reminder - if you are going to complain about outlets not assigning reporters to pistons coverage, I sure hope you are paying subscribers to that publication. They can't pay a reporter and then give you the coverage for free.

That wasn't my complaint. But thanks. Should I also make sure to buy season tickets before complaining about the team?

Then what is your complaint? That the team is blocking reporters somehow?

most teams have their own media coverage. the pistons didn't advertise media day on their own website and haven't uploaded any of the photos from media day on their website.

keith langlois is hired by the pistons and yet it's beat writers from other outlets that provide way more content about the team.

Check out youtube, probably 20 different shows about the Pistons on there, some better than others, but still a good way to keep up with the latest happenings.

I saw a Stewart interview recently, and I think he legit thinks he is the best shooter on the team... haha ... got to love that confidence. I feel like he's going to knock down 38 -39% from deep this year on about 3 attempts per game. Really open up that driving lane after the pick and pop action. This also will help space the floor a lot better if he is playing with a Duren or Bagley.

This lack of adequate media coverage of the Pistons prior to the season starting is really causing me some consternation. It totally threw off my golf game these last three days at Treetops.

The Detroit News is also a good follow.

Anyone seen the interviews Ku is referring to at the 23:25 mark?

He thinks Killian wants to be a starter and that if he plays well enough will probably end up leaving the Pistons and if he doesn’t play well the Pistons won’t keep him and he’ll be traded or let go.

He’s a pretty big Killian fan, so that’s interesting.

If Stewart connects with 38% of his threes, he instantly becomes one of the best players in the league at his position.

His defense, switchability, and then add damn near 40% from three?

I'm just sitting here hoping he becomes a threat so the lane is clear.
