NOBODY even in the media is claiming or hinting this is Randles team. It's RJ & Brun but more so RJ being the face

Randles not even a leader how can he be the face of the franchise especially off last season? Randle was the face and fumbled it BADLY. As horribly as anyone could. The torch is passed and was passed to RJ mid season.

Just goes to show how so many focus on the negative, a guy has a good season and a bad one, and all they can focus on is the bad.

RJ had one of the most in efficient seasons in the league last yr, and 70% of knick fans are not sold on him either.

They can change the narrative with the right coaching staff and leadership..

RJ has too many personal Goals he wants to achieved before his focus is strictly on winning..

Randle needs more vet leadership around him, i don't see anyone on the roster that can step to him and keep him focus.

The rest of the team basically fits in where they get in, so we essentially we have no FACE or Identity

Where did u pull that stat out from? If u poll most Knicks fans they view RJ as our best player and u think 70% aren't sold on him? Yes he has some areas of his game to improve on. But most fans are giving him the benefit of the doubt and are optimistic.

U want fans to focus on All-Star Randle in an empty gym rather than playoff Randle and last season negative, cry baby sore loser AND winner Randle? U can't be serious. He didn't just have a down year. He was toxic. He was AWFUL and selfish. He never helped teammates up, he argued all game long with the refs, he argued with fans, emotions of a 12 year old, pushing teammates, skipping post game interviews, never addressing the media after a loss or if he didn't play well, wanting smoke with EVERY player for absolutely no reason other than he was pissed.

That was the most bitchazzness I ever seen from a player in any sport. He was a a str8 clown point blank period. But fans only wanna focus on the negative lmao

I'm just speaking in terms of him or RJ or Randle being the Face of the franchise and the issues both of them have.

I just don't see either of them being anything close to being the face of any franchise let alone the KNICKS.

You become the face of a entity when your good 90% of the time and that player is top 25 in the League.

WHAT has anybody on this roster done for this well enough or long enough to deemed the title of franchise player or face of it.

On a team where there are 3 players about equally talented - Randle/RJ/Brunson, and then another tier not far away in Rose/Fournier, it's Thibs who winds up being the face of the team. Agreed.

When the league markets national televised games they usually show Randle and RJ so I guess they are the faces right now. Not sure Brunson is that marketable at a national stage unless he plays lights out and emerges as a All-Star reserve candidate.

For a tanking team it’s not bad ,
For a team trying to win it’s kinda maddening .

When a player leads your team in rebounds , points , assists and is vet, has positive BPM
he should be the face of the franchise .

It’s like a role for RJ he not ready for because as the face you will take the blame , of course he will be scathed , better to fly under the radar nobody NEED RJ to be face of anything but his own development .

Fundamentally I respect how he has or had a strong stance on obi and the concept of him playing center.
That I do remember and it’s at the core of what bothers me the most about this team .
