how is that percentage worse than the overall 3pt percentage? Doesn't add up.

I’m more concerned with Cade being on there. If he can’t knock down open 3’s that’s a huge problem. He needs to do better there.

Its kinda funny. I was about to make a post about giving the 3 rookies a pass, until I read your post. Then I checked out Cade's numbers.

He was a .400 guy in college on 5.7 a game.
He hit .314 in the NBA on 5.7 a game. That sample size is legit

He already isn't as big as he was hyped up to be, if he can't reliably hit the NBA 3? Yikes. Still a really good player, but right now if I was a Pistons fan I wouldn't be too pumped about having him over Mobley or Barnes. Hopefully for his sake its just taking a bit for him to extend his shot.

Totally agree. I like Cade's potential but his size is a big disappointment because I feel that is one of the main reasons why he was valued so highly. Not having that size and then not being able to knock down open threes are two big concerns thus far. Lots of time to improve on the shooting though.

It's interesting. Did the Pistons even work out Scottie? Obviously Scottie wasn't projected to go in the top 3 or anything but to not even work him out is pretty poor management on the part of the Pistons.

Cade was advertised as having the stature of Lamar Odom, but he actually turned out to have the stature of Malcolm Brogdon.

If Scottie was playing in ANY market in U.S. he would be labeled as the next coming of Magic Barkley

Instead he's in Canada, where he's regarded as the hardwood arrival of Mario Gretzky.

Yeah, looks inconsistent af lol.

Probably won't see a big difference in his 3 point shooting but hopefuly his FT's % climbs up.

not #1 option eh? Guess that's why the Nets were willing to trade KD for him

Allegedly, seems like the Nets never wanted to trade KD in the first place since they were never entering any trade talks in a good faith position.

I get that generally speaking, number 1 options are higher valued/"better" than non-first options, but it's an oversimplified idea. I mean, Magic Johnson, Steve Nash, Scottie Pippen, and Kevin Garnett weren't as strong as first options as Dominique Wilkins, Allen Iverson, Reggie Miller, and Carmelo Anthony, but that doesn't mean they were worse.

Barnes FT%

College:
Games 1-12: 51.4 FT
Games 13-24: 75.9 FT

NBA:
Games 1-41: 71.3 FT
Games 42-82: 75.4 FT

After a rough start to his college career, Barnes has been in the low to mid 70s range from the line. If he can get it to the high 70's, low 80's that would be ideal.
