I remember a few years ago Embiid did a skit about working as an intern in an office. Can’t seem to track it down … anybody know where I can locate it?

I think this offseason we just told Embiid to be healthy for the playoffs.

And we do that by asking him to lessen his load during the offseason, probably also explains why he didnt play for France

This also explains why we went to get Montrezl, just so we’d have someone who can fill the scoring if Embiid isnt playing

So I’d expect him to start out of shape for the season but I’d expect him to be healthier in the playoffs compared to past years in the playoffs

This is maturity. And championship teams usually needs a lot of sacrifice to do it. Whether it’s paycut or sacrificing RS success to be fresher in the playoffs

Something will happen in playoffs and he will carry a nagging injury again, not his fault but it is what it is.

Instead of Biid training with Drew Hanlen every summer learning perimeter moves maybe switch it up and train with Hakeem or some Big men . He has been bad at retaining post position or reposting.

And stop training with Jayson Tatum all he does is go back to the Celtics and tell them what new moves Embiid is going to try in the game lol

Embiid is just not THAT guy, this has been evident for quite some time now. I fully believe he faked some of those nagging injuries in some Playoffs series, because he needed an excuse to explain why he sucked so badly in crunch time and against top teams.
I would look to trade Embiid before trading Harris TBH, yeah bad contract but he still plays within his role better than black hole Embiid.

Heard Joel is hellbent on winning the MVP this year, what irony it would be if Harden steals it from him.

Neither Embiid or Harden are winning. The main focus should be growing as a team to have a chance at a title

If I were Morey I would be entertaining trade offers for Embiid.

I've been hearing this BS since 2018, with Brett and Simmons it was "growing as a team" too. At one point it's time to realize you can't grow as a team with Embiid, he is a diva who only cares about his stats.

Not yet. Let him pad stats against Poetl, Cody Zeller and Miles Plumlee before you think about trading him.

Embiid
You are already 28 (physically you are 38)
You will never be in a better position to win a championship

You’ve seen it before
It’s not your first bad game
Show some maturity and be a leader

Lead by example. God damn it

Next time Harden goes into some shooting funk and just gives up on defense, its because of times like this. They look up at you.

I hope you dolts know that trading Embiid means we start over. You don't trade stars for stars in this league..its pick packages and with Harden aging, that would be useless.

but then again I do wish we trade him so yall can move onto the next whipping boy

Obviously trade talk is crazy but I’m glad Embiid is receiving a lot of heat directly. He’s avoided a lot of criticism over the years due to roster construction and general Sixers drama. But he’s developed some really bad habits and deserves to be roasted for them.

He's our franchise player and he's going to be in the hall of fame one day. At this point, just keep him until he retires. We just have to work around his lesser traits like his diminishing athleticism, his poor conditioning, and his low basketball IQ. We can overcome those things by putting a lot of youth and skill around him. Not old men.
