No quality whatsoever, neither team able to put a passing move together, rife with errors. Makes you wonder what the money is even spent on in the Premier League, or if it even matters when the standard of coaching is so poor.

Definitely the coaching lol Gerrard saying he’s going to go back to basics when we had nothing going forward for 20 odd games is hilarious to me. I was out during the game but it was on in the bar I was in and I could care less about the game.

Queen's passing gives Arsenal a scheduling break, not playing red hot City.

So they beat Brenford, go back on top. Maybe City will have cooled down later in the season.

Can't watch the NLD tomorrow because I'm working weekends now. Thanks to Liz Truss and her cretinous chancellor for giving the upper middle classes a tax break during a financial crisis, and tanking the pound. Tory bastards **** off.

I think it's going to be a really difficult game for Spurs. Arsenal fans will want to make a lot of noise, both because of their improved start to the season, and for the hiding we gave them at our ground last season to tilt the top four race. Would be happy with a point, especially if United can get something against City.

Really looking forward to this. Hope it lives up to expectations. Massive game for both teams but moreso for Arsenal being as they are the home side. A point would be a victory for your lot.

Interesting first half. Arsenal dominated rightfully went 1 up then there was a pointless penalty against the run of play and since then Arsenal have disappeared.

Really disappointed in Saka.

Richarlison is such a wonderful player.

As an Arsenal fan, that is an absolutely atrocious red. My jaw almost literally hit the floor when he pulled it out.

It didn't even register to me as a yellow when it immediately happened.

Even without the red card, it seemed like Arsenal was going to be able to keep generating chances, dominate possession and shots.

I saw a few more replays. One angle looked like he stomped on his ankle, another looked like he barely clipped him. I still think it was a bad decision but at the end of the day, Arsenal was up 2-1 and clearly the better team at that point (IMO) so it wasn't a capital offense or anything. At the very least, it couldn't have happened to a more suitable opponent. 8-)

City hasn't lost since October last year in the EPL.

Why root for City, so that Arsenal doesn't win?

There's a good chance City wins by much greater margin than last season. Not sure Arsenal is as good as Liverpool was last season.

I know that's not true because Spurs beat them in February.

And yeah that's precisely it. To a Spurs fan, Arsenal winning the league is apocalyptic, City winning it is just another drop in a bucket. This current Arsenal team actually reminds me of one of the late Wenger-era teams when Ozil, Sanchez and Ramsey were playing out of their minds and I think they finished 2nd or 3rd, I can't remember.

It does seem like, on paper, City are the best team in the league by a mile but I've seen the best teams **** up many times over the years.

I get that, you have that in US sports too, rooting against teams as much as rooting for your own team.

The sense of rivalry doesn't run as deep or as long obviously but a lot of it is based on regional rivalry or proximity.

Just give City the trophy now. The only way they lose it is a catastrophic run of injuries.
