1ST Q: SPURS 17 ROCKETS 30

Devin made an end-of-Q 3 but it was just past time. He's still the lone Spurs starter to even attempt one, making none.

We're 1-9 from 3, 6-22FGs, 5TOs.

Reality check.

Lots of new players, etc., etc. but I do hope we look more cohesive. Some nerves and tentative play. We got decent looks just oof the guys who should be making shots just didn't.

They finished on a 13-5 run. End of Q details...

We're just nowhere near as aggressive as we hear we are in practice. Some pride should kick in as we're getting our asses kicked.

A Q and a half in, that's a damning statement.

I know I know - pre-season. I don't care. Effort has nothing to do with talent. Unless you count effort as a type of talent. But it's certainly the one thing anyone can control so everyone can get better. Should be better given practice feedback.
