Wow, after checking the City vs. United score I feel slightly less bad about the NLD loss. Good lord that was a decimation.

Phil Foden killing it as well, watch that bellend Southgate have him playing behind the ball in a bus parking shape against Iran.

Watching the matches this season it is clear that you only need to be an above middling team to get a Europa league spot this season. And yet my team are bottom of the league with only 1 point and the fans are contemplating the darkest day in the club's history since the 2008 relegation to Division 1.

This is what Brendan Rodgers has brought us to. It is unacceptable. He needs to go, whatever the result this evening.

I slept in a little (game started at 9am EST and I went downstairs, grabbed a coffee and started watching the game at the beginning. I looked at my wife and said, [full first name] this might not be good.

I didn't realise I did this until later on in the evening and we were having a chat and she mentioned it. I NEVER use her full first name, except when she's in trouble lol. I guess I was stressing the gravity of lining up against City.

And I was right. Bastards.

Watching Leicester vs. Forest. Leicester don't look like a team that's rock bottom with no wins. Playing some good football here, Dewsbury-Hall narrowly heads wide after Maddison's sublime skill to craft the space for a cross.

I suppose it's the fragility at the back that's got them there, because they don't look bad going forward. I felt the same when they played Spurs.

Forest hit the post, then immediately concede two goals. A touch of fortune about the first, Maddison's shot is deflected in by the defender's arm, but the second goal was a sublime cut-in and finish from Barnes.

Forest look crap.

Maddison free kick. 3-0, game over.

Class from Leicester, but imagine spending £150m to assemble this terrible team.

To be fair I don't think the players United have bought recently are junk, assuming we're not talking about Maguire. There's just no structure to integrate them into. I think this United team would find a way to make even De Bruyne look crap.

Southgate if you know what’s good for England then Maddison should be on that plane to Qatar.

I lowkey cheer for Forest just because they have no ad on their jersey, it is such a weird look, like you watching team from the 50s.

This might sound strange but I hadn't actually noticed that. I think my sense of perception is failing me.

HIF will be pleased with this one. Great performance by Leicester.

Just realised that Spurs legend Serge Aurier is playing.

Barça did that for a long time. Then they had to pay Messi and others.

I know, it was their principle. Then they got unicef, excusing its for a good cause and it gonna be only UNICEF, but then they say screw that, and just abandoned their predicesor principle and tradition. Sad.
Barca used to have one of the best uniforms in general, but the last 10 years of designs has been abysmal, sponsor logos not being part of that.

He moves so well and can convert all sorts of passes into goals, he's taller than most defenders and jumps well, has such great composure and mindset..I think he might become the greatest pure scorer of all time.

What a mess Niakhate signed up for.

And got injured early. Shame.
