Rox will suck enough to be bottom three - so 27.4% percent chance at pick one or two (14%, 13.4% respectively). So, a very good shot at one of them.
But, there are a lot of guys that might be good this year. I like JWalker. Smith looks good. The Thompson twins. Lively. Mitchell. Whitmore. Whitehead.
I am so hoping HOU adds another first by shipping out EGordon/KMart/Mathews/etc. and can parlay that along with MIL pick (and maybe 2024 BKN pick) to add one more top ten guy.
If other teams are as optimistic about the 2023 Draft as you are, trading up into the lottery isn't going to be easy.

I think the race foir the bottom is bigger than wemby, this class is loaded at the top unlike thisyear which was probably a bit below average. Wemby is looking generational, Scoot looks like he'd go first in most drafts, Amen is right on his heels imo and guys like Whitehead and Whitmore are awesome 4th-ish picks

Well, I’m pretty good, but I’m already a free agent. I went undrafted YEARS AGO

Sorry, only funny to me, but I have to get used to seeing Scoot on the forums, and it not being me.

Porzingis is the obvious comp for what he will look like in the NBA. Porzingis with better blocks. He actually has worse shooting %s than KP in Europe.
Wemby has GOAT defense potential though and he probably should be able to stay healthier than KP.
So I think Porzingis with better defense is his game. He will be an All-NBA player at least once I think. But it's a matter of when than if with leg injuries.
And like you I do not see the GOAT or the best prospect since LeBron.

If it was rigged, I feel like they'd send him to San Antonio given their history with Euro guys.

OKC going to turn SGA and their picks into as many assets as it takes to get pick swaps with all other 29 teams and guarantee 1st Overall

Probably Utah. 2nds 7 years from now really aren't that appealing if we like Beasley, and I think we do. I think LAL as well, they've seemingly already drawn a line in the sand on what those two picks could/would be used for, and it's not Turner. My bet is they trade for Beal if he shakes loose.

Value wise, it's not bad for Utah. Save a little bit of money, try and rehab Dario Saric's value, and get some picks in return for Beasley. If you'd rather gamble on Beasley increasing in value, I wouldn't fight too hard in that regard. But like you said, the Lakers have drawn the line in the sand with 2 FRPs for Hield/Turner. Jae Crowder doesn't change that.

Charlotte has already quit on Clifford. A terrible out of pocket hire that nobody on the team respects, what a surprise. This is going to be an ugly season and I wouldn't be surprised to see a total clean house at the end. If I was running the team, everyone would be available sans LaMelo. PJ, Rozier, Oubre, Hayward should help contending teams. We'll see how the Lakers look by December, I guess

Charlotte need to be tanking for Vic or Scoot or Dariq or Nick

it's probably gonna happen by accident.
I was looking at our schedule a couple hours ago and only see maybe 11-15 wins over our first 41. It's gonna be out of hand quick
I hesitate to take away much from guys effort in the preseason, but this is going to be a really ugly season regardless whether the players buy in or not, there's just not enough talent to offset how horrific our center rotation of Plumlee/Richards is going to be.
investigate Adam Silver

Uh, yeah. Those two have provided a bunch of nothing tonight.

Heat fans were pretty adamant they wanted nothing to do with a Jae Crowder reunion. Interesting then to see Zach Lowe reporting the Heat organization is interested--though he acknowledges matching salary is very difficult at this point. But Heat fans seemed opposed to the player not just the logistics. This makes a lot more sense to me. They could very much make good use of him. And Heat culture should be able to withstand a guy who wants to start/secure one last contract. I mean this the whole Dipo experience, no?

Is it to be assumed CP3 wants to stay in Phoenix?
Their window seems closed.
A big deal is made about his family being in LA.
Does that limit his desired options to "close flights"?
Jazz, Cali teams, Nuggets

I don't view the situation as all that similar. Crowder's not about to take two years to establish his Bird rights anywhere, nor is he rehabbing after injury. He may not even negotiate a buyout.
For whatever reason he's the most toxic element of a team that went from contender to disjointed pretty suddenly.

I disagree. He's away from the team not causing any issues. Ayton certainly seems like the most toxic element. He couldn't have made it any clearer he didn't want to be there in the opening presser.

At this point, who gives him a better option to win than Phoenix? Kings are awful, Warriors don't want/need him, and the Clippers would need to take away from their core of bench players. That leaves only the Lakers, and somehow I don't think the Suns are interested in Westbrook for CP3. And somehow I don't think the Suns are keen on moving him since they've been a legit title contender since he arrived.
