Man, if SA managed to get Vic the pairing w/ Sochan would be really nice.

That defense would be potentially the best frontcourt duo in the league with a bit of seasoning.

Dude Wemby is not frail. He looks solid. This might be a Giannis situation where he has the frame to build a muscular physique.

He's definitely put on weight since the FIBA championship game against chet. I think you're always gonna have concerns with guys his size but that's encouraging.

He has a much better frame that Kristaps, who has really narrow shoulders and a long torso. He looks like an elongated Tyson Chandler or Rudy Gobert

Putting on weight slowly shouldn't be too hard.

I am shocked that these games are even close. This is a professional team, finished 3rd last in regular season in French Ligue. I know they had busy offseason with a lot of changes, but still they should blowout a freaking G League team.

We see this with NBA teams losing to inferior teams from other leagues, motivation and effort can beat talent.
This is also happens quite often in national cups in europe in soccer/basketball.

He’s 100% at Lebron prospect level. GOAT defensive potential along with what he’s shown as a shooter…

But how is Wembanyama different from say Porzingis? Both ultra tall, skilled, reasonably athletic big men.

I guess almost a bit of a dig at Porzingis, that maybe he should be better than what he's shown so far in the NBA.

I’m getting the same vibes. I feel like people overemphasize having a face-up game, a perimeter game or a ‘bag’. I’m like where is the post moves and the rebounding.

I understand why the Jazz decided to blow it up for next year’s draft now. That Cat is a living cheat code.

He's been scoring up a storm in the mid post with shots over both shoulders. You're not going to see some deep back down game from someone so skinny right now, but he's showing a ton in this game.

Also, the Porzingis stuff is weird, because I saw young Kristaps, and he never ever moved like this, nor could he do some of the things I'm seeing from Victor. The Kristaps stuff is lazy, It's like looking at Jaren Jackson and Evan Mobley and not seeing the difference between them.

Victor is a more fluid athlete than Porzingis. Porzingis has some explosiveness, but he doesn't move like that, laterally especially.
