Dray needs to be suspended and required to seek professional help. We do not need to see another M.Bridges situation.

Not sure from when, but here is Draymond taking about JP on his podcast.

"If you can't handle him talking **** that's on you".

This is about the extension, money, pride & ego. Not talking smack. This isn't the first time JP and Dray have got at each other.

That's conjecture. We don't know what it was about at all, just that Draymond punched JP. Throwing out guesses like it's fact is a huge issue in a story like this.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

In some games last year, you could see him chattering all game at JP and Poole being worn out.

Probably good info about defensive rotations but he’s just a nag at it. He took the mentor role to the young players a little too seriously.

Best outcome is if the league fines him into six figures without suspending. But the NBAPA would object. So it may take a few games suspension, remind him how he cost the team a title.

The Alch chimes in. A few strange conspiracy theories but worth a listen.

They don't have to like each other to play together. I agree -- at this point, the Dubs need both to win more rings. DG has one, maybe two more years, unless he takes a major haircut on another extension. JP hopefully longer if the Dubs can figure out the money and JP is OK with the situation going forward.

I just don't see how you fix this situation. Poole has to completely humiliated now that his friends, family and the entire sports world has seen what's happened to him. There might even be a few people in his ear right now telling him to start planning his exit. I wouldn't even blame him considering the warriors seem more concerned with the leak than punishing Draymond.

Hopefully Poole is not too obsessed with his masculinity. Draymond is the one who disgraced himself, not Poole. So Poole did not win the fight. Is Poole supposed to win that fight? He stood up for himself with the 2 handed shove. Draymond can be a bit scary.

Should Poole feel humiliated?

I don’t know how he “should” feel. He can talk to his therapist about that. I do know that this event is going to follow him throughout his life. People will bring this up everytime he starts talking **** now and he will have to deal with. He will need to bark back at someone eventually or he will continue to get tested in these situations. Imo he shouldn’t stop talking smack bc that’s how he plays the game.

I don't get this narrative. He got sucker punched by a dude way bigger than him... why would he be clowned for that

Win the fight? There was no fight... chest bump, shove, sucker punch, over...
Poole has NOTHING to feel ashamed or humiliated about. If anything, he was the bigger man in the situation.
Dray took it way too far. He needs to look in the mirror and acknowledge that.
Seems like he took responsibility and apologized to the whole team. That should be the end of it.
The rest is for the peanut gallery.

The Warriors have 5 players 21 years old and younger. Wonder how they feel now about playing with Green and having him scream at them all the time. Might make some of them a little nervous.

Agreed.

I think folks here are overreacting and overanalyzing the situation.

Dray has already shut up since this happened. With a lot of crickets. Wonder how long he can stay muzzled?

Management might hope he stays quiet from now on.

His brain and mouth have always gotten him in trouble in the past.

How likely is it that Draymond is on PED's? He's in a contract year, and it looked like he was losing a step last year after the back injury. He wants one last payday, and now he is assaulting teammates.

Because fans are idiots. He will be hearing about it at every single opposing arena. It's easy to say that he should just tune that out, but when his friends are constantly asking him how he can be teammates with Draymond after that it's hard to ignore.

Hasn't really shut up. The Chris Haynes tweet and TMZ later are all coming from him, just through different avenues. He and his agent are trying to control the narrative, quite desperately.

I think that the biggest problem on our hands is that Draymond's value is probably gone at this point, and he's going to opt into the last year of his current deal just like Westbrook did. We're probably looking at having to attach assets to get rid of him.

Based on your comment, I'm pretty sure that you've never been sucker punched in the face by anybody. Hopefully Draymond realizes that he's walking a very fine line here. JP could easily end this problem permanently.

Draymond with Parick Bervery after the punch on the last Draymond Green show. It is a good show. The show barely touches on the Punch of Poole. But Draymond is kind of expressing how he wants Jordan Poole to deal with what happened.

Draymond tells a story of Draymond fouling Patrick Beverly too hard and Praises Patrick Beverly for just shooting the free throws rather than reacting to being fouled too hard.

Draymond tells of an incident in which Rick Mahorn (the baddest of the Bad Boys) clobbered his teammate Dennis Rodman and Dennis Rodman just respected Mahorn more for playing tough and hurting Rodman.
