I'm laughing at all the fake outrage by other fanbases that wanted the league to step in. The league doesn't care about this stuff because physical altercations during practice happen all the time. What Draymond did was rare, but really, the only issue was that there's a video of it. But overall, they're more than happy to leave it to organizations. Personally, if Jordan is cool with everything and he can move on, then that's the end of it. I'll leave it to them to work things out. But man if Draymond even farts the wrong way during a game, they should trade him.

If two guys want to fight, they can. Have at it. Nobody would care.

But that wasn't a fight. Any fool arguing it was obviously has a problem interpreting body language.

Draymond is a bully and he thinks his actions are beyond repute. Seen it many times. Maybe the Warriors sit on their hands again and continue to enable him.

Dude, I had someone sucker punch me at tennis practice in high school, yes tennis practice. I got up and beat his ass. This stuff happens and it's meaningless.

Dude it's not just about people thinking that Jordan is weak. It's about Poole having to hear about it everywhere he goes. Friends, family members, along with the general public are going to be bugging him nonstop about it. It's easier said than done to just block that all out.

That might be the case for a few days, maybe a week..
It might be brought up again later if there are tensions during the season within the team, but I suspect it all blows over and no one will be talking about it by the time the season starts.

Lol, you are dead wrong man. It’s all anyone will be talking about with the Warriors when the season starts. Draymond will definitely be getting suspended now that the video is out.

How much did it affect the Bulls when MJ punched Kerr?

I don't know which is funnier...The idea of someone getting clobbered during tennis practice or the idea of someone admitting to it. The only thing worse would be getting clocked (no pun intended) in chess club.

Yea, dude most tennis players are weak? Go tell that to Nadal. I played hoops too and we had fights all the time in practice. Anyone who played a sport knows that.

im not even sure we can get anything for Dray at this point. might even be a neg asset

I'm all for trading him, but we did just win a championship that we wouldn't have won without him. You can't really trade guys off of the team right after winning a chip either.

There wasn't video, and times are different.

Doesn't matter and MJ was the face of the league and still didn't matter.

Yeah I'm guessing Curry will be against trading him or even a long suspension imposed by the team.

I hope Myers and Joe have the nuts to suspend Draymond for 15-20 games at least, and use this situation to force him into some sort of anger management program as that is long overdue. It may really help him understand how to keep himself under the anger threshold and that tipping point when emotions are high. He's needed it forever.

If Jordan can move on and reconcile with Draymond, and they can flesh it out, I'd like to think they'll be fine. If Jordan can't, and Draymond refuses to really own this massive mistake and calm the eff down, then we may be forced to look at a deal for Draymond.

Of course, then there is how Steph, Klay, Iggy, Looney and co. now feel about Draymond. Trying to decapitate their little bro in Poole may have caused a seismic shift in respect and tolerance for who Draymond is. I wouldn't be surprised if Steph tapped Myers on the shoulder for a long term chat about the team.

As bad as the video looked, the Warriors can't ignore it, millions of people have seen it. I'm predicting a 10 game suspension and 50k fine (max team can fine him.) Plus, they have to be considering how to move on without Draymond.

I am guessing Curry would be ok with trading him. Remember what Draymond said this summer about how he didn’t think Steph was capable of leading the team to a championship on his own back in 17 or 18? Draymond is also super close with Lebron who is Curry’s biggest rival in the league.

Curry wants as many rings as possible.

Until they prove they can win without him, he wouldn't want to risk trying to win without him.

I kind of side with Kerr on this one I didn't think it was that serious. That said I feel this will affect FAs going forward knowing that Draymond is running the asylum. No matter what happens to Draymond there will be players who do not want to join a team that is lead by him if they will be touched up.

Poole's response to this situation is going to be so integral to the success of the team going forward. He could be the reason the team doesn't have chemistry/checks out or he could be a guy who doesn't let physical confrontations phase him.

The reporters always ask the easy questions. No one dared to ask him whether he thinks Haynes’ tweet was BS like Steph and Kerr said.

And whether he thinks Haynes was making BS up or really someone on the team giving Haynes that narrative.

That is much more important than the punch itself. Or the video. It’s about Poole’s character. Or a made up accusation on Poole’s character to drive certain narratives.

Why not just come straight out and ask Draymond whether he, his agent or anyone in his camp was the source behind Haynes' now debunked story? Draymond is already in a corner. Make him face reality. If, after the altercation, he fabricated a lie, then better to fess up to that too now. Eventually, the truth will come out.

Well you are not supposed to ask him in a way that you are accusing him to be the one. You are looking for an answer. Instead of reaching an answer yourself and ask him.

Regardless, you reach the same goal by asking him indirectly.

Whatever, if I'm wrong I'm wrong. Niners had a tussle in their training camp and no one is still talking about it.
Two athlete's got into it at practice... happens all the time.
I think it's pathetic that people are turning it into such a big thing.
