Murray looked good. Lakers missed their window in trading RW when Hawks traded for Murray and Blazers have to explode their team.

I see RW playing for the Warriors with the minimum next or next next year.

If I were an ESPN hot take artist, I would be calling Victor the next Rashard Lewis.

That French national team in two years though is truly going to be like playing against the Monstars.

I want to see a French frontcourt of Victor, Embiid, and Gobert just for absurdity of it all.

Same, but maybe I'm just a hater too.

I don’t know why everyone compares him to KD- i don’t see that level of shotmaking. Dirk seems like a closer comparison.

I wasn't comparing him to KD to be clear just meant that no one is going to be able to block that shot using KD as a reference.

With all the tank for Victor hype, I’m very curious to see if a Tobias trade actually happens. Now would be a good time for a tanking team to unload all of there useful players for a mediocre big contract player.

I'll take what you are smoking. Tobias has zero use for a rebuilding team

Lol fair. But he’d be an amazing tank commander, expiring contract next year, and quality locker room guy for a young team. The point in trading for him would be to lose this year and open up cap space in the future.

Disagree. Tobias is the premier tank commander, a decent player on a big, soon expiring contract to eat up cap space who will fill up a stat sheet and provide locker room leadership. He's not winning you any games, so really he's ideal.

Genuine question. What trades in the past have there been where a tank commander gor anything decent in return?

The Sixers gave up two 1sts, two 2nds, Shamet, and expirings for Tobias?

A Tobias trade now would involve shuffling around bad contracts to get 2 or 3 who would be helpful. Examples would be the likes of Jae Crowder and Jordan Clarkson.

For instance, if Utah can move Conley with a couple other multi year contracts for one big expiring… would they do it? If the Lakers can get a couple of helpful multi year deals for Westbrook without giving up any picks, would they do it?

Also, with the Bridges fiasco and the Ball camp in Charlotte… it almost screams for a deal.

Noone ever trades for a tank commander. They can sign guys from the gleague and figure out if they are anything.

Not to mention Tobias while not the star he is paid as isn't a tank commander. He can play on a good team being the 4th option he just makes too much money for his role.

Sorry, I'm not following. When Sixers trade for Tobias, it wasn't for a tank commander. The teams you mentioned wouldn't be looking for a "tank commander" except Charlotte. But regardless, I'm looking for a past deal that happened. My thinking is I don't think teams trade anything decent for a tank commander.

I think at best, we'll be able to trade Tobias next year as an expiring for a half decent player with multi year deal that a team doesn't want to sign (like Sexton last year).

Im rooting for this guy. How he tries to learn new skills to adapt to the changing style of play is inspiring

If i were the Nets, I’d rather hold unto him and would have let Ben go instead. Drum is an impact player and u dont need him to get the ball to max him out.

Kyrie
Harris
Royce ONeal
KD
Drummond

Would be better IMO
