I think of all the things I dislike about the Cardinals, and there are many, it's the "We're the Cardinals, dammit" arrogance that's shown by their hometown official scorer refusing to give hometown Golden Glover Arenado an error as he whiffs on an easy one-hopper. After giving Edman a pass earlier in the inning, albeit on a much tougher chance that he got to and should have fielded.

I work with some Cardinals fans, and all the worship of Albert and Yadi and Waino has made me throw up in my mouth. I hope there's a picture somewhere of Pujols rooting around in Mark McGwire's old locker.

They did just beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl a few years ago. And that Philly team prevented Minnesota from playing in the Super Bowl at their home stadium.
