J Mac isnt the only one who can't guard Wall. Few can. It doesn't concern me.

Let ask, who can JMAC guard one on one on the Clippers?

That's a whole different matter. :)

Hey, I’m as good as an analyst as JimPete! He was asked for his impressions, and he also said “that was fun!”

Who do I call to get paid? I guess the Wolves are blessed with the two best analysts in the nba!

That's always going to be a problem with McLaughlin, he is just physically unable to defend big athletic guards who are looking to drive to the basket. I was hoping that one of Rivers/Dozier would be capable of coming in to provide defense against that type of player, but so far neither looks like much of an option (Dozier hasn't even played yet).

Not sure PJ is healthy enough yet.

Hey a win is a win and what's so cool about this one is they had all their stars and we didn't have Rudy. KAT was working off rust and seemed to get it together as the game went on.

Anthony Edwards is so fun to watch man. You can tell he wasn’t going 100% (most of the players weren’t) but man he makes ball look easy. That contested rainbow midrange turnaround was very Kobe/Jordan like. Then the few drives where he got contact and finished. Wolves should be very fun this season.
“This kid reminds me of a 6-6 Chris Paul. He wants to win everything.”

Olin Simplis- SGA’s trainer.

Right now, my question about Dozier is whether the Wolves can keep him around while he gets healthy. He's not eligible for two-contract and I don't know that Connelly will cut one of players on a regular contract to open up a spot for a guy who isn't ready to contribute.

Thank you. I really like your additions this offseason. Wall and Jackson is some nice PG depth, and Morris Sr adds great toughness. You guys picked Portlands pocket last year adding Powell and Roco cheap, and when Powell is paired with PG 13 and KL, you guys are gonna be scary as well. I look forward to the rivalry, as I expect both teams to finish in the top 4.

They were missing Powell, and he is a damn good player. That said, Rudy is arguably our best player (Ant and KAT fans mad at me now ;),) and the heart of our defense.

I think we can move on from Rivers to add him anytime before mid January. If PJ wants to be here, he will not sign with anyone else while recovering and getting into playing shape. Might see a rehab stint in Iowa, as his contract puts him with our G league team.

He must have been listening. He finished the game with 6 assists.

winforlose wrote:Naz starting at PF is telling. Finch clearly wants him playing PF with either Rudy or KAT in the 2A or 2B rotations. Dlo and KAT are both rusty as ****. Ant needs to take over at some point. I love the kid, but you cannot be the guy until you act like the guy. That drive and dump to Naz is a great example of being the guy who makes plays. Or that sweet reverse after beating the double team. I need Ant to demand the ball more and know what to do with it. I don’t know why but I get the sense Forbes and KA are going off tonight.

Naz had a very good game. I think he's been working hard and he's a better player than ever now. He's still young.

 KAT had subpar court vision. At this point he is who he is. Hopefully this season he’s featured less as a creator and more as a catch and shoot big.

Thank you resident KAT hater. He finished the game with 6 assists and 1 TO.

What a shooting performance from Forbes tonight. He was probably the key to us pulling this game out.

I have been saying Naz needs at least 20 minutes per night to show what he can really do. I have also been saying Naz good enough to start on a half dozen teams. Tonight he showed why. 20/11 against a great team (even in the preseason,) in just 23 minutes and change. Oh and he is only 23 and going into his fourth year. We have yet to see him at his true peak or prime.

Go back and check, I called it. KA had a great defensive performance (so I get half credit,) and Forbes BALLED OUT.

Your both right. Dlo looks like **** right now, but he will be just fine. Preseason is the time to shake off the rust and get your groove back.
