With respect, the trade ideas are not for this particular thread. This thread is for the line-ups and rotations with our current roster.

For example, your point about Gafford playing more and with whom is material.

Who we should have drafted, not so much in this thread.

Thanks.

I’m not feeling well and I’m pretty sure it has to do with one new medication in particular. I swear if doctors aren’t giving out opioids that lead to increased fentanyl deaths; there’s stuff that makes my ornery and groggy yet somehow I sleep less restfully . Crying for no real reason..

Lots going on …This, too, shall pass. Dckingsfan, YOUR TACT AND CARING have been duly noted.

I appreciate you!

I am thinking that the travel to Japan + injuries are going to lead to a slow start by the Wizards due to Wes not being able to solidify the rotations and schemas. Having Beal, Deni and Kispert out hasn't been helpful, IMO.

Not sure what he's doing but Beal has caught it what, 4 times? Consider a mask maybe?

I was so sick with it I thought I might not make it; but at the time I decided not to tell anyone. Covid is a beast

doclnkin, I am aware that you know more than I do about virtually everything. This issue is probably no different; however, I was twice vaccinated but I did not get the booster. Still got it. This Omicron strain of the virus does not care. Covid is a beast.

Please do not blame the people who get sick and make an assumption that they did something that caused them to get sick

Bipolar disorder works that way as does traumatic brain injury

But before you think I’m gonna get all serious you can blame me and make fun of me anytime -- however, I just feel Beal probably is so rich that it’s God getting him back for that bad contract

Yeah I did just say that that was f’d up

In all seriousness I have noticed that occasionally the symptoms seem to come back. I had something way back in May and I have not been totally right for a long period. The symptoms can linger or worsen, unfortunately,.

Oh sure. I was down on Beal early on the issue since he was a vaccine skeptic and was held as an example by the people who politicized public health. (And his wife was loud wrong about it, vocal and all over twitter against the vaccine) . Eventually Brad said he did get the shot. I don't really care if he did or didn't just didn't like him being a public example for people who wanted to risk death and spread disinformation.

But now I just wonder if there is something Brad is doing wrong since he has gone in Covid health and safety protocols actually FIVE times now. Is there anyone else in the NBA who has been exposed this often? Is he licking the floors of hospitals or something?

And I wondered in Brad's case if this had anything to do with the sudden drop off of his game. He used to have an unguardable stepback move. And ran all day off the ball. Was he tired last year? Did that have anything to do with his jumper not falling?

My wife was wondering this after Brad’s first positive Covid test. It’s a fair question to ask.
There are sometimes long term effects from Covid that many of my friends fear more then dying from it. (Remember my senior status :D)

I’m at an age where Covid has taken friends and loved ones around me.
Most recently, 2 weeks ago, my best friends wife, an ICU nurse.
CCJ you’re right, we can’t blame the patient. Nobody wants Covid.

Edit: For clarity the question that I believe is fair is,
“Are we doing everything we can possibly do to stay healthy & free from Covid?”
Tsze-Kung asked, "Is there one word which may serve as a rule of practice for all one's life?"

The Master said, "Is not Reciprocity such a word? What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others."

But back to the thread topic. With Beal, Deni, and Kispert out we look like:

Morris - Wright -- Devon Dotson
Barton -Johnny D -- Jordan Shakel --Jordan Goodwin
Rui --- Quenton Jackson
Kuzma - AG -- Taj? Makur Maker?
Zinger -Gafford -Taj

A lot of minutes available for Quenton Jackson, Devon Dotson, Jordan Doodwin, and Makur Maker to make a case for the final 2 way slot.

Would like to see Maker, Jackson, and Dotson on the roster somehow.

Maker really seemed to develop into a solid player during the NBL playoffs.

Pick one, I doubt we cut Isaiah Todd or Vernon Carey coming out of the preseason. But I'd love to see any of them stashed on the GoGo. Looks like it would be a talented team with fierce competitors.

I wish we had deeper rosters in the NBA so we could truly use the local squad as a feeder team/minor league. Draft and stash, the domestic version.

Shoot, I still want them to pick up Trevion WIlliams, just cut from the W's roster. He needs a trainer to tone up and work on his lateral movement, but his BBIQ would rule at the D-League level while he works into NBA shape:

Of course, if the rosters are deeper, then GS doesn't cut Trevion.

I just keep being surprised by how narrow, & how low to the ground, the vision of this FO is. I'm sorry to say it, but I think we need to clean house.

Do you go into protocols by exposure to a known covid positive person without testing positive yourself?

You do have to report it if a member of your household tests positive. Not sure if that keeps you out for the same amount of time/negative tests.

This is just so Wizards.

What if his stepback is gone for good? Great contract, NOT. :(

Okay, that’s reality. However, I choose to grasp hope and look FORWARD to something optimistic. Perhaps, the Wizards are choosing to load manage minutes with Bradley?
