Someone said this further up, but yeh the discourse has gone off the rails.
Was this **** and embarrassing to see? Yes. Is it an immature way for a 32 year old to act? Yes. But I don't love the social discourse I'm seeing of 'I can't punch people in the workplace! How is this ok!' I facetiously tweeted it because if you've played a sport at a high level...you've probably seen a fight. Or been in one. I've seen multiple instances where teammates physically fought then played together without issue for the next year. Hell, I punched a sub on my youth soccer team while saying 'that's why you're on the bench.' Which is actually pretty cool looking back on it

I'm not saying this is super common, but it does happen and we should expect it to happen in a hyper-competitive sport like this. This isn't the deterioration of the warriors as we know them. It is Draymond getting worse and worse at adapting to the modern NBA. I'm sure he has had a million issues behind the scenes, and the best point I've seen made is that this was the last straw. He won't get the benefit of the doubt anymore from the FO or fans, but we also won't firesale him for 'chemistry' reasons.
To me, what this mostly means is Draymond can no longer spin his 'old media' BS. Complaining that it was Bob and Steve's fault for not keeping KD wouldn't fly so great if it happened today. And that IMO will be the major ramification...other than a likely smaller final contract.
