Just call him Mo. The "slo" is implied.

Mo is fair. Is this really a big thing? I have used shorthand and initials for others without the board reacting. Or is it because of the whole KA and KAT thing?

Seemed like a complete non-issue to me.

So what do we call KAT, DLo, JMac, JMc, and Ant now that we are limited to 2 letters?

No limit how many or how few letters. Use as many or as few as you prefer. Garnett was referred to as KG. I personally hate JMac as he isn't a Mac he's a Mc. We actually have two JMcs on the team so it would be good to differentiate them.

Gonna ask again, how much of this drama is real? I used to call Beasley MB, I used to call Vando V8, I use MCD for McDaniels and JMAC for McLaughlin. The key is a comfortable short hand that people can see and follow. TP is obviously Taurean Prince, so why not KA for Anderson. I feel like this is a personal preference debate that is getting kinda silly.

Of course it's silly. Call him whatever you want (within reason).

I understand confusion having both a KA and a KAT if that's how people want to refer to Kyle, but still it shouldn't be a huge deal.

Drama relative to the number of posts dealing with this. The whole thing is just weird.

Late to the party, but that was about as serious and exciting a pre-season game gets.I think we can see why Clippers are favored to win - They all can play and can shoot 3s. Wall seems to have a lot left in the tank. Looks like a great anchor for the second unit.

I am a little disappointed with KA so far but KAT seems to fit in well with new role. It feels like we are still missing a backup small forward. Maybe Dozier could fill the role or we need one more trade.

Correct me if I am wrong - I think Minott and WM Jr. has to take up a 15 men slot. So, I think we can only keep Garza or Knight assuming Ried will be on the roster. I would go with Garza despite Knight looked great because we need a 3rd center and not sure if Ried is that. Still two more pre-season games to go. Would love to see Dozier playing them.

I suspect Dozier is not healthy. I cannot imagine him not getting any minutes in the first 3 if he was able to play. Knight vs Garza is the biggest question in camp. The next biggest is PJ vs Rivers when PJ is healthy.

The Clippers, Nuggets, and Pelicans are my 3 teams to watch out for this year. I still think we end #1 in the west and make the finals (maybe even win a title,) but those 3 are the principle competition.

Garza would be our 4th center, but he's played well so he might be kept. Knight has also played well. I don't see a move for another SF as both slo-mo and Prince spend time there. Plus Ant might have minutes there as he did much of last year.

I see us keeping Rivers for his veteran leadership.

I am kinda lost. We have 15 main roster spots plus 2 two ways. Keeping Garza means losing someone else. My point was that move might be Garza instead of Knight. If you think both stay who is leaving? Also keeping Rivers means losing PJ Dozier who is likely the better defender, fit, and player.

Does it surprise you. When it comes to this team you just gotta believe Ant “We da one Jack!”

Yes, I am thinking the 15 men rosters looks like this: Gobert, KAT, JMcD, Ant, DLow; KA, Prince, Forbes, Nowell, JMcG; Reid, Minott, Moore, (Garza or Knight), (Rivers or Dozier); Paschall(2 way), (Elleby or Lawson 2way);

Garza or Knight or Dozier likely end up with another team and not one of our 2way. Who goes will also depend on if we leave a roster spot open.

Knight sure, but one benefit for these guys on Exhibit 10s (Dozier, Garza, Elleby) is they get up to a $50,000 bonus if they're with Iowa for 60 days.
