again, you have no idea if Jordan is actually okay with it or not. he could be saying all the right things just to seem like the bigger man or doesn't want to seem like a bitch if he asks for Dray to be punished in front of his teammates.
the people with the levers of power have to actually draw a line themselves. that shouldn't be up to Poole. because Poole, or any other man, will not run to Myers/Kerr in that scenario to get Dray suspended. he'll just pretend everything is good because that's the code.
You are right, but they didn't do it before the leak so they missed their chance of suspending him without looking like fools when they're caving to public pressure. IMO FO had no choice but to stick to their guns and definitely hid behind JP. You are right about all of that.
However, you are also right that none of us have any idea of how Jordan truly feels. Not you nor I, no one except JP himself. However, Poole doesn't have to love draymond or be ok with him ever again at all to recognize that him missing games will impact their chances of repeating as champs. He also knows he's about to get a giant bag of cash from the FO and chances are he'll be a Warriors long after Draymond is gone.
He might not be ok with how the team handled the situation, but there's 130 million reasons he'd be willing to put this whole mess behind him.
So I can take him at his word that he's ready to move on because I think he is a very mature and intelligent young man who can see the bigger picture here. What were his options? Demand draymond get the suspension he deserves and risk losing multiple games, further poison the locker room and reduce their chances at another chip? Get mad at FO for not handling it themselves so he's not goint to sign his new deal? If I were him I wouldn't forgive or forget, but I would certainly do as he reportedly is doing and choose what's best for the team. Which means I put it all behind and move on
To be fair we haven't heard his actual words, we heard from Kerr, but if JP comes out and says the same thing. His word is more valuable than your or my speculation.
