i dont care if we draft a 22 year old who has been playing pro in spain since he was 12, then played one season at unc, duke, kentucky and kansas each or if they pick a baby giraffe from a zoo on mars. just get it right.
coolio is right. we have no plan, no identity. we waffle between approaches, never committing fully. we always try to jump on the latest trend 2 years too late.
its **** unacceptable to be this bad at running a franchise. yet people, keep making excuses for the team.

I hope you aren't implying I'm making excuses.
I'm saying your statement of "stop drafting raw players" is the symptom, not the disease. You keep finding new and creative ways to bitch and moan about the same **** over and over again and it gets... stale. We all get it man, trust me. We do.
The entire tree is rotten, picking new fruit isn't going to fix the underlying cause (MJ and the entire FO).
The rules are made up and the points don't matter.

not aimed at you
not all get it, or else i wouldnt read daily comments praising the bare minimum of what is acceptable play, or read people defending the front office and making every excuse possible for failures of the franchise
not gonna stop bitching, until this franchise picks a direction, makes a well thought out plan, and succeeds in executing that plan. so if it bothers you, you might want to put me on ignore

it's more of a concern-for-you sort of thing
you've been pretty damn Eeyore for a... while now and it's hard to tell through the screen just how serious you are or if you're dramatizing things for effect.
I just wanna see you smile fats

Thanks.
I'm good.
I don't let the Hornets get me to up or down these days. I'm pretty much numb too their mediocrity. Don't get me wrong, I am beyond excited for the season to start and to watch this team even if we treadmill along at 35 wins with a roster that makes no sense.
I know I've been pretty salty the past 2 years but it's only because I just vehemently disagree with the direction Mitch has taken this franchise since Drafting lamelo and signing gordon. I thought that last summer we had a real opportunity to build a really good team around the core of our young players plus Hayward and it's well documented that I disagreed with pretty much every single decision we made in the off-season of 2021. I really thought this was the offseason that Mitch would make everything happen, and it only turned out to be worse than the season before. not all of that can be blamed on him obviously like the milessituation, but still I clearly disagree with his approach.
It's just frustrating that it seems we dont have a plan or direction and I fear it will lead to us eventually losing Melo.
Plus I've obviously been frustrated at the rose colored glasses hype around a certain disappointing player, so I'm probably over correcting in my responses to make a point.
I'm a fan no matter what. I never ever root for us to lose a game while I'm watching. I never root for a particular players to play poorly just to make myself look good related to my previous opinions on those players. I will always admit when I am wrong on my evaluations of a player and happy to be wrong. But also, I'm a fan of this team and I will never put a single player ahead of the team.
