For most of us it seemed like making the play-in game was the likely limit, and that took everything going right. It was implied by at least one poster that the addition of Bogdanovic represented something of a "We're ready now, go for it" move; I personally don't hold that opinion. I think that was just adding a good vet with hopefully enough years left in the tank to start now then move to a super sub role, or just become a trade asset. Point being, the injuries now, especially since it's not key players injured, don't really do any harm. I know there's a small contingent here who like to push the "Cade will get sick of losing; something needs to be done soon to start winning" doom and gloom scenario but to me that's premature. This is Cade's SECOND year. His projected long time running mate is a rookie. No one is going to convince me that Cade--who seems like a pretty sharp and well put together kid--will be stewing about losing games this year.

And there CERTAINLY is a contingent on this board who would prefer a tank for Victor season anyway.
This certainly seems like the concensus around here. Just landing shy of the play-in, and somehow ending up with another top 5 pick would be amazing, but that seems like a bunch of fortunate things to have happen.

We'll see how the season goes, but the first 20 games are just a nightmare, and will go a long way in letting us know, where they are as a team, and what to expect. If the Pistons can come out of that looking at least competitive, it would be amazing.

12 road, 8 home.

For the Pistons to build any kind of confidence, they have to win the home opener.

I can't see "POS" in any context without my brain immediately going to "Piece of s**t."

With the Sixers waiving Charles Bassey, I'd like to see him on the Cruise. A little insurance for trades/long term injuries.

it's impossible to read POS (point of sale) machines or POS terminals as anything other than "piece of ****".
