With the close to preseason, the Nuggets rotation looks strong and deep. Starting unit is as expected with Jokic, Gordon, MPJ, Murray and KCP. This group is locked up for multiple seasons.
Only the bench was questionable. At the end of third period of the GS game when the Nuggets made a run, it was with Jordan, Green, Reed, Bones and Ish Smith. That looks like the bench moving forward with Smith moving to reserve when Murray plays and Brown moves back.

Can't see Brown taking any kind of a backseat to any of Jordan, Green, or Reed, especially with the statement Malone made about his acquisition. Brown will be in the rotation, wouldn't be surprised to see Jordan on the bench either.

I think he meant with Brown moving out of the starting lineup and back onto the bench when Murray is ready to play, which might be right away. That said, if Murray is sitting out, I see Brown as our best option in the starting lineup at point guard. We don't need him to handle the ball with Jokic and he brings basically everything needed while keeping Bones as the spark off the bench. Brown was such a good pickup and a great fit. I really hope they find a way to get him locked up after this year.
Ish is clearly going to get some playing time. He and Bones could work really well together actually. I imagine Nnaji and Jordan will alternate a little bit at backup center depending on the opponent. I'm kinda surprised we didn't see much, if any of Jordan, Nnaji and Green on the court at the same time. The 3 of them would give the Nuggets some good size and spacing off the bench.
