Of course Hader closes it out with ease.

Fox did a great job letting the sound from the players/crowd go there. Didn't speak for well over a minute.

What happen in the post season?
Why is the two teams hosting the NLDS the last teams to make the wildcard playoffs

Baseball is a high variance sport. So it's a lot more random than basketball for example. A short wild card and division series makes the results even more random.

I don't mind it. It's like the NFL where any team has a chance to win. I love basketball, but the 1-3 seeds account for 73 out of 75 NBA championships. Not very exciting. There were only 8-12 teams for a while but still

Now we need Cleveland to knock off New York
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That may have been the most "no doubt" homer I've ever seen in a playoff game.

I generally think franchises moving is always disappointing/sad/other negative emotion, but if it's going to happen then I think it's good that it happens where there is market duplication. Sure, there's enough population in the bay area to support two teams and hardcore fans don't just flip-flop allegiances, but there's just a bridge between the two cities. The stadiums are literally 20 minutes apart. So I guess it's better than than, like, Kansas City or something.

It's a shame if the A's move, because that proposed stadium looked unbelievably awesome.

This is my opinion but Oakland and the city are different cultures. A’s fans are like the blue collar team who’s fans love baseball and Giants fans are fans of Giants (if they’re good). This is a generalization, but Giants fans on the whole, suck.

I’m coming from the east bay and going to an A’s vs. Giants game is a completely different experience. It’s a **** hassle to get to SF (the city) and the cost is higher. Tunnel then Bay bridge ($7), parking is more expensive in the city. It’s 20 minutes with perfect conditions on 80; rare. You can take BART to Oracle Park but then you gotta hoof it 20 minutes or transfer to Muni. Coliseum BART drops you right at the stadium.

Coliseum is the worst stadium in baseball by far, so I’ll concede that. Giants product is better, you just pay for it. Only reasons I go to a Giants game is if I get tickets from work or the Brewers are in town. Otherwise, I’d go A’s all day. My two cents, I’ll be sad to see the A’s go.
