he was even better than he was last game today

lead his team to a comeback and didn't need a total outlier 3pt shooting night to put up an efficient 36pts on 24 shots with 11rebs 4ast 1stl 4blks and only 2 turnovers and 1 foul

Who in the league right now has the combination of height, strength, agility to stop Victor right now?

Zion?
Simmons?
Giannis?
Embiid?

he would struggle with Rudy right now. give him five years assuming he's still healthy, it's going to be tough for anybody in the league to slow him down.

Nobody struggles with Rudy. Teams stick guards on him and he still can't score on them.

Why do I feel that in like 3-4 years, he might see Giannis in the finals fueling a new rivalry.

Giannis vs Victor
Giant Slayer vs the Slayer Giant
Freak vs Alien

Maybe I’m just day dreaming out loud

If Giannis is smart he will come to Victors team. I cant imagine how even a freak like Giannis would be able to deal with what prime Victor should be.

there is a difference between adjusting your opinion on a player, we do it all the time

to going from 'not drafting this guy' to 'greatest prospect of all time and not its not even close' within the span of 2 pages.

Yea, but that was before Wemby did Vegas. He put himself on a whole new stratosphere with that performance. He's like the player you design in 2K if you had enough coins to do it.

what changed about your perspective about him over the Vegas games? The main concern was injuries before right? did you see something different?

The main thing that swayed me was him balling out on the big stage. The truly great players play their best when the lights shine the brightest. He had more eyes on him than in any of his games in Europe.

After what he showed, injury concerns are the last thing on my mind. Too much generational talent to worry about injuries.

Sometimes when I watch him I get the sense that he wants to shoot more jumpers than drive it inside. This tells me he might not be dominant going to the rim like Giannis is but I still don't know. Alot of times I see when he gets there he's just so tall that he scores anyways.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

He will be used like pre-injury Porzingis in the NBA, at least until he gets injured.

Vic's defense could be all-time great and he has perimeter skills. It makes sense for a team to maximise hie impact by having him out there on the perimeter offensively and saving his body for defense.

chances are he will never be like Giannis in terms of inside dominance. 1) he has an outside game. giannis became dominant on the inside because he had no choice, and 2) he likely doesn't have a body type that will be able to get as strong as giannis. his base will likely always be such that he will be easy to push off the block and he'll need to shoot a lot of turn around and fadeaway jumpers rather than being a guy who just bullies people in the paint.
