I dont know why, but he looks WAY quicker than last season. In the past, I called him slow even, I mean he was very fast for a guy his size, but he was still on the slow side when it comes to all players on the court. Maybe its his improved handle and footwork, but he looks much much faster than before, he legit looks like a wing player.

He was still a kid who wasn't done growing. For a guy his size, at that stage of his development, his agility, speed and coordination was absurd.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

He should sit out games until the draft. Why even play? It’s nothing but risk. Just do workouts and get his body right.

C - Victor Wembanyama
PF - Jeremy Socham
SF - Keldon Johnson
SG - Devin Vassell
PG - Josh Primo

Average age of 21 next season. Would be awesome to watch them grow together

As much as the Kawhi saga soured me on some Spurs fans, I think I'd like them to get him more than any other team. Would be fine with the Pacers as well.

Why would Kawhi saga sour you on Spurs fans? He did them and the org dirty as hell, lmao.

Because he can further sharpen his skills. I get injury risk, but he should be soaking up all the in game reps as a #1 option.

Because players play basketball.

Just insure the guy properly, and play.

How do you insure what will probably be $500m+ in career earnings?!

I’d have this guy walking around in bubble wrap and a vest.

Convince some insurance company that you're worth $X if not injured. Agree to pay them $Y if you aren't injured. If you are injured, they agree to pay you $Z.

He is a professional player, and no, he is never making 500+ million if the attitude is not to play the game you paid to do, cause you are afraid you will; get hurt, I always hate these type of narratives. Like How Davis Bertans decides not to play anymore, cause he already played himself into new contract, imagine if everyone did that, its just a joke. VW is not playing for charity, he is a pro player, who just joined a new team, he didn't join them for nothing, and its already a team that is not qualified for Europe, so he plays very little amount of games as it is.

There was a good bit of back and forth with some Spurs fans coming at Raps fans and the franchise regarding Kawhi during his time here and when he left. I only say it as a Raptors fan on RealGM. And I recognized where they were coming from so that's why I'm not holding any grudges.

They already had Duncan and DRob, they had enough generational C's at pick 1 for a while.

I would prefer to see IND/UTA/CHA/SAC get him. IND/UTA for consistently attempting to compete so the one time they tank it would be fitting that they get a GOAT prospect. CHA/SAC to bail those franchises out, they haven't had a talent like that ever

Absolutely not for CLE/MIN (they're playoffs teams anyways but if they were lotto I would be sick if they won the pick lol way too many #1s between these two teams recently) /ORL/DET/OKC/HOU aka teams who have had good picks recently

Can you imagine if there was no lottery this year? If the team with the worst record gets the #1 pick. All 30 teams would try to lose lol!

Except for the Lakers. Probably land in the play-in still.

These posts are nice in a vacuum, but when the inevitable injury comes like with Zion, all the let them play talk stops. He'll learn more playing in the NBA than he will in the minors. What's most-important for him is health, and I think strength training is an essential part of that for someone like him. He needs bulk, and running the floor won't add that. I'd have this guy on HGH and 2adays up until the drug testing starts. Get at many lbs on him as possible in that time, ideally all in his legs.

What if Victor sees the lottery results, and decided withdraw his name, and return to to his French team?

Even if he tore an ACL or his Achilles he would still be the 1st pick. Just bulking isn't going to help him, he still needs to play if he wants to get better. If he was at risk of not being picked due to injury I'd get it, but most guys who are going first still get picked even with injuries.

And what risk is that? He won't lose millions because he will go number 1 in the draft, injured or not.

lol...and how would the Lakers ever get him?

Pelicans get a pick swap with the Lakers and if the Lakers end up with #1 pick...Wemby goes to New Orleans. lol
