I'm going to guess that barring a setback, Rob comes back in mid-January

Isn’t it amazing how the Bulls also ruined Lonzo’s knee? Oh wait, they never played him, and it’s still way worse off than Rob.
In reality, meniscus’s just are tricky, and Rob is injury prone. The people who say that are lazy and ignorant about how it goes.

I remind people that it took Westbrook 3 surgeries to overcome his meniscus issues. And he got the repair too.
Meniscus injuries are like turf toe injuries in football, they linger sometimes

“Second half of the season”
“December-January, but could be later”
“If today were the playoffs he’d be playing”
I'm tired of both Shams and Woj, man. They are in some kind of personal competition to out-scoop each other and it's leading to them both talking out of their asses more and more. More about their own egos than actual news at this point.

My doctor offered it as an option because I have osteo arthritis in my right knee.
Not covered by insurance so would purely be out of pocket.
No guarantees it would improve the situation, just a hope.
But with young pro athletes with multi million dollar career, they're going to try it.
If it was very effective, insurance would cover it and it would be more widely used.

A surgeon told me that Rob coming back and playing isn’t why this happened, but posters on realgm said it’s the reason.
I don’t know who to believe…

yes, blame Woj and Shams. It was them after all who said it was okay to play on a bad knee.

No way to know if it was the same injury but James Wiseman was out for over a season on a meniscus tear. He had setbacks though, which required another procedure.
But one theory is that big men having to chase down 3 point shooters or sprint back to the rim from the 3 point line to rotate could make them more vulnerable to injury.
So one of his greatest strengths may make him more subject to injury.

Our regular season record...not so sure unless Kormet can really contribute. Small ball 75% of the time...not convinced.

I don’t know who to believe…
Arthroscopic knee surgeries have failed to beat placebo in trials, so there’s that.

“Could” Return in 2nd half of the season really doesn’t sound great.

Rob does a lot of stuff I've hardly ever seen on a basketball court, but it puts his legs and knees in awfully vulnerable positions fairly frequently.
That said, I'm probably not alone in Googling "PRP procedure", thanks RealGM:)

Watch the video lol.
He said they are hoping he’s back in December or January, but it might be longer because they want to take every precaution, aka they rather him have less of a workload by the time the playoffs come.
He also said Rob would be cleared TODAY if it was the playoffs.

The cool thing about being a mod is I can see all the notes left on people's accounts by other mods and make a good decision for myself to not engage with career trolls.

Sometimes it’s fun.
