FYI, this is the same ankle that was giving him troubles after playing overseas for his national team. The team doctors were hoping it got better and were concerned he would need surgery on it to fix it, but it looked like it did for a while, sounds like he re-aggravated it again.

Pretty sure that was his quad

Yeah boys, it ain't happening. Lol

Yea lol I was not buying the “Yurt is the current starter” talk one bit. The team looked horrible in those minutes against the Wolves C team

I think getting tendonitis on the knee that didn't undergo surgery is somewhat common due to impartial balance and amount of pressure you typically put on the 'good' leg as you work your trust up on the repaired knee.

Hopefully that's all it is and it doesn't lead to anything significant. We need Dipo this year.

Miami was right to bring him back slowly. He will require serious maintenance.

This is why as a player you always take the bag. Hard to see any team giving him a longterm deal.

Sounds like he is going to be in and out and load managed all year.

Not ideal, but thank god we have Gabe.

I always figure he was on gonna be on load management even with no set backs. I wouldn't count him out or in.

Dipo made of glass. I respect his game but he’s a prime example of why you don’t bother with chronic injury type players

Miami protected themselves by having a team option next year, which means they can cut him next year. It was a gamble, however he isn't completely done per say, he may just need to be brought in slower than what we expected. Unless we get the news he is heading into another surgery I can see him being brought back slowly with games off in between getting him healthy to finish the year strong and give us that extra push in the playoffs.

God fuxkin bless man. How long is he out or is it just a load manage type of deal?

Sounds like a load management issue at the moment to make sure he doesn't over stress his tendons. I am expecting 50-55 games at best this year from him so that we can keep him healthy for the playoffs.

He isn’t done but him being in and out of the lineup constantly will hurt team chemistry. Hopefully it’s something like lasts a couple weeks or a couple months max and not the whole season.

I remember when people were scared to extend Herro out of fear it could mean pricing out Oladipo. Not to say he can't still have a very productive season, but health was always going to be a question mark there imo.

Disappointing about Dipo. I was really hoping he was going to have a good season. He still might, but him, specifically, starting the season on the injured list is not a good look.
