Not the “bad” knee at least

So now that we've lost our 6th man spark of Herro and Dipo we need three point bombers to bomb off the bench. It is time. Strus. Duncan. Jovic. They will blow.

I don’t think we can realistically count on Dipo after the past couple seasons. If he’s fit, great, if not…we have options

Lowry / Vincent
Herro / Strus
Butler / Robinson
Martin / Jovic
Adebayo / Dedmon

That’s my presumed rotation at present while Dipo and Yurt are out. Otherwise could see us go with Cain over Jovic, or slide Jovic to the 5 in place of Dedmon.

Haywood Highsmith is in front of Cain right now at least. In any case, this is not a big deal about Oladipo. We will manage him in the regular season, and he'll be available as an ace in the sleeve during the postseason. That's probably been the plan for this season all along. Hopefully we can bring him back next season. I wish it so.

He definitely shouldn’t be in front of Cain if we’re being honest. Cain showed more in 4 straight games then we’ve ever seen from Highsmith

Dipo has played 115 total games (regular season + playoffs) since the tip-off of the '18-'19 season. That's < 30 games a year. If he still needs to be "managed" before this season even starts, he isn't going to be much of an ace in the postseason.

Dipo may as well go ahead and exercise that player option for next season now. :nonono:

Interesting factoid: Since Dipo arrived he has scored 111 more regular season points than Udonis Haslem.

And yeah I wanted him back.

This Dipo thing is yet another lesson that the team has more information to guide their decision making than us armchair GMs in here lol
