I don't think MJ liked the comparisons. He was called George Gervin with a better and bigger smile. Jordan wanted to create his own path. Was Bird compared to Barry at times and Magic with Oscar early in their careers?

A good chunk of his team did his first year. It was throughout the league. Gervin was imploding worse than Kemp did later on
