That surprises me. I assume (maybe wrongly?) Androids use a mobile version of Chrome? If so, I'm shocked there aren't a ton of ad block extensions.

There are extensions for chrome on PC (I run 6: AdBlock plus, Ublock Origin, Ublock extra, Privacy Badger, https everywhere and ghostery), they don't allow extensions for mobile however. There is no option for extensions under settings, your extensions don't show up even when synced and logged in.

That's a shame. With iOS, you just select Safari in your settings and then select what apps (or features of apps) you want to allow.

It is hard to remember back about a decade, but I think it used to be like that, but google play isn't as vetted and all the malicious knockoffs may have ruined it, but my extensions should work based on my synced account, the fact they don't allow that might be a clue there is more to it. Who knows? It is an absolute joke though. I don't care much for apple because it isn't open source, but this is obviously an example where Android isn't open source and worse because it is controlling the market in a manner that is anything but open or free. But it sure sounds apple regardless of a regulated marketplace has android beat in this aspect. Hell I don't think sideload options exist, not when I looked a few years ago.

Summer league superstar Mac McLung hits the free agent market.

The Warriors have waived Mac McClung.
They're doing this in order to open up a training camp spot for Ty Jerome. McClung should clear waivers and will then look to ink a training camp deal with another team, but he's likely bound for the G League.

Interesting. I wonder why the Warriors chose Jerome over him? I don’t think we dump Elleby for him, but it is something for TC to think about.

I finally watched the video of Dray and Poole. For whatever reason Dray walked up to Poole and bumped chests with him. Poole shoved him away and then Dray launched into a full on vicious attack of Poole. It was IMO horrific.

I found this report on RotoWorld.

Draymond Green won't be suspended by the Warriors and is expected to return to the team on Thursday with plans to play in Friday's final preseason game.
He was fined an undisclosed amount by the team and Steve Kerr said on NBA TV late Tuesday that there is still work to be done to repair the damage done to the team's culture over Draymond's punching of Jordan Poole (along with the video being leaked). Kerr also said the team is ready to move forward so you can expect the Warriors to be at full strength for the regular season opener with a starting lineup that will include Green.

The Draymond haymaker exposes a huge double-standard in the NBA. The players want to be seen as part of a business when it suits them, as “partners” in the organization. However, imagine if Robert Sarver had thrown this punch!

The Warriors are doing what everyone does in society after these incidents - they try to spin it. They perpetuate “boys will be boys,” and “this happens all the time, everybody does it.” Then they go on a manhunt for the person that leaked it for the damage it did to the organization, not the guy that actually did it.

People should be responsible for their actions, and the consequences should be fair to all, regardless of whether a guy can put an orange leather ball in a metal circle.

Our society only values whistleblowers when it suits us personally. Bad players or cheap players get disciplined differently than good or expensive ones. The league also has double standards for its big market teams vs small market teams. Even the officiating is inherently and publicly biased. Rookies don’t get whistles that vets get, and vets don’t get whistles that elites get. The entire NBA and the entire product is corrupt at every level. But then again so is our society.

I will enjoy watching the Warriors downfall after Curry becomes washed.

In layman’s speak, the Warriors are paying $8 mil to any owner that doesn’t go into the lux.

Extra painful for 76ers fans. A giant misstep in the process as they traded Tatum + one 1st rounder for Markelle Fultz to our favor GM Danny Ainge

Wiggins did the right thing staying with the Warriors, love it for his legacy/career. Signing a big deal to be a tank commander somewhere else would have been a diaster. GS is where he needs to be.

Only in GSW can role players make 27.5 per year and be praised for it. He isn’t even their fourth best player.

I hope we don’t pay our fourth best player $27.5!

Reason 4,278 why draft picks are overrated. Philly still produces a team that can competes in the east despite drafting fultz instead of a handful of others.

Their problem was they traded Ben Simmons too late. James harden is a loser. A no longer spring chicken super expensive loser. I don’t know which loser I’d rather have between BS or JH. Also wasted money with Tobias Harris. 2 front office misfires that severely hampered the process. Probably should’ve kept Jimmy and Joel as a foundation and used the Al horford, tobias money etc to fill out the roster. Did they have maxey in the wings when butler was there? That would’ve been a damn good big 3.

I don’t think they can win anything watching iso ball with harden and Joel. Doc rivers has had success albeit 15 years ago. Might be time to start thinking about the future there especially if this seasons a dud

WARRIORS ARE DEFINITELY BEATABLE. THEY STRUGGLE AGAINST SIZE. CHAMPIONSHIP HERE WE COME.

Warriors are definitely beatable. I wouldn’t even put them in the top 4 in the west. In no particular order the Wolves, Clippers, Nuggets, and either Suns or Griz (depending on health, Suns ahead of Griz because JJJ is out,) are all more likely to be home court teams. Not only do they not handle size well, they are getting older and more injury susceptible. They also aren’t as deep as they like to think. Beating the Lakers isn’t that great an accomplishment anymore.

I really like the Sixers but I think they are screwed if Harden can't be elite most nights. The NBA makes it really hard to build a championship team around a big and as great as Embiid is, I'm starting to think it will be very very difficult for him to carry his team to a title if he's the top-scoring threat.

They really need an elite guard/wing and some other reliable players in those positions then they would be really hard to stop. Relying on Joel to get all the big buckets will be too easy to disrupt for elite defensive teams. If Harden is truly done, they are in big-time trouble.
