When he got injured I had zero kids and now I have 2 and JI hasn't played a single minute. My oldest knows how to talk.
It worked out and we got Paolo and Suggs. We weren't going to be in contention if he played but he would've made us better.

Right. But he's still not playing. Even if WeHam was holding him out last season to stealth tank (I think that theory has been debunked with his most recent surgery) - there's no reason to hold him back now.

Might as well sit him until 2029-30

JI said he was ready and I'll take his word for it. What we don't know is what the real goals of the FO is this season. This could very well be another intentional tank season. We don't know yet.

JI's not one to lie so I agree that he feels like he's ready or he's been told he's cleared. What does that mean, though? The FO doesn't want him on the court for some reason - maybe they don't like what they've seen of his skillset since his injury? He'd most likely come off the bench so I don't see his presence in the game as something that will move the needle out of a bottom 4 pick if that's where we're heading anyway (I don't think it is).

Seems like WeHam is saying they don't think JI better than Paolo, WCJ, or even Bol Bol at this point since they're electing to put a healthy JI on the DNP list.

WeHam shouldn't be deciding who plays and who doesn't... unless they trying to tank. They're paying JI a ton of money so they might be playing it cautiously hoping that he still is a DPOY level player whenever they do decide to unleash him.

He got injured again before the season ended last year. Probably during rehab.

I believe its on a different leg, which makes sense. When people suffer the same first injury as he did, some people tend to overuse the other leg.

yep, body imbalance. Very common.
I had minor soleus injury on left leg, followed by almost identical injury on right leg 2 months later.

Ross made alot of defensive mistakes as always. I think Gary will take his spot when healthy. I am not sure who i like better next to him, but propably Suggs unless Fultz comes in as a different player.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !
