I agree, and I’ve been saying this since the end of last season.

I don't think he's reached that point yet; I think Hayes still holds that spot. It's more just frustration with watching him continue to try to drive more when he's not good at it at the expense of taking open shots instead, which he IS good at. Not as consistently good as he needs to be, but it's still easily his strength. And within what I think most of us expect this offense to be, is what's needed. As has been stated, it seems pretty logical that Ivey and Cade should be the guys attacking the lane while Bey and BB should be trying to get themselves open for outside shots.

It's not hilarious at all, it was only a matter of time. I literally called it towards the end of last season. This board is predictable.

I understand about expanding his game, but it wasn't like he shot 40% from 3.. He can always practice the step-back, or simply running more without the ball. Even when Rip was off (which was rare), he tired the hell out of the defense. He side-steps a lot, but I have nothing against the mid-range. GS have the best two best shooters ever, and they take the LEAST amount of 3's. The two best defensive teams were Boston and GS. I want Bey to grow as a defender. He has the strength, and shown a knack even as a rookie for staying on his feet, never biting on pump-fakes (not sure why more guys can't get this), but if we're losing, sure, but I don't want to waste an entire season working on something he'll never been good at, when he could have been working on something else.

When Jerami came here thinking he had to be the guy, his defense wasn't as great as it was in Denver. And in Denver, his offensive numbers were so efficient, despite not playing too many minutes. From 3 and the FG in general. He came here, and it went down tremendously, and his defense suffered.

But, I also understand there are many 3 and D guys, so if he has some dormant skills, sure, let's try it out, but that's what the off-pre-season is for, or in the very least, something to do when we're actively tanking in the last few months of the season.
