Re: GM 1: Lakers @ Warriors
This team does this weird thing with AD... As soon as he gets rolling offensively, they immediately take the ball out of his hands... He becomes a spectator for most of the game and then they try to throw it back to him when times get tough, but by then he's cold...

Did anyone think this coaching hire was good from the start? Klutch is such an awful partnership the Lakers chose.

They literally look exactly the same as last season... Just with different, less effective role players.

Re: GM 1: Lakers @ Warriors
Start Jones (or Bryant when he's back) and have AD play mostly 4. The point of AD playing the 5 is to better space the floor for P&R and driving lanes, but if our litany of guards can't shoot anyway there's no point. We're just playing smaller, worse lineups defensively with no payoff on the other end. If we can't space the floor well anyway at least put some size out there and give us a chance defensively.

There was no offensive system. It was one on one ball with LBJ, AD and Russ taking turns playing solo.
Defense showed hustle but poor rotations on their shooters .
I had high hopes for Ham but have seen nothing so far to give me confidence .
Jones should start at the 5, along with LBJ, AD, Nunn, and Beverly.
Bring Walker, Ryan, and Russ off the bench

Totally agree. Disappointed to see so much one on one with no offensive movement.

I can imagine Frank Vogel chuckle while watching this team last night. Some actually thought it was him who just grossly misused Russ last season.
