I can't really complain about Randle because he came to play, he just committed too many ticky-tack fouls. But with that said, Brunson was getting thrown to the ground many times and he was not getting any calls, it's BS.

I have to say one thing about Morant though, he's super cocky. And games like this, if we pulled out the win, would have felt extra satisfying just to humble him. I get being confident in yourself, but he takes it to obnoxious levels.

True or even if the ref hadn't ignored that blatant foul on Brunson.

It’s games like this that make him think he deserves a Tyler Herro/RJ Barrett contract…

Just let guys like Cam/Obi etc. raise that value so we can nab a big fish for them

Next game IQ doesn’t pass to Cam confirmed.

Team H0mer gonna need to explain RJ

He missed makeable shots. What is there to explain? He’ll be fine. There were 3 shots he put up that I hated. Everything else, he just gotta hit those.

As he should, Grimes has a poised game, Cam’s game is erratic and out of control

I wonder how good Cam would be by now if he was given the same opportunities and license to chuck that we have given RJ.

Cam always was the smoother scorer.. he’d prob be 17 PPG guy rn

Fournier honestly should be the odd man out when Grimes gets back. Dude loses his man every damn defensive possession.

Slow down we just need him to take IQ’s license.

Is RJ going to be guarding the opposing teams primary ball handler every game? If so we are screwed. Grimes or Reddish will need to replace Fournier eventually

A couple of his fouls were his teammates fault for losing their guy or letting loose balls go where he was stuck. Could have made the whole difference.

RJ was abysmal. Randle was pretty damn good. Cam showing that potential.

Brunson at PG is going to make a huge difference. Just steady & skilled, missed a couple that could have changed the game but overall an ok performance.

81 left. It’s a long season

He finally got right ..then he got tired. But Im not mad at him. Its great that we have someone who can get us a good shot late in games.

I thought the layup where he left the guy on Beale St was definitely going down. Then he missed a wide open 3. Rare inefficient night for him, I’m actually hyped seeing him play.

Right and that foul he drew on Morant.....its so weird having a smart player at the helm

Another moral victory. Imagine the Knicks got anything out of RJ, Fourskinier or LOW IQ

IQ should be the odd man out to be honest, F0urnier would be a much better fit with the 2nd unit and we could get consistent scoring from him.

He was pretty useless guarding Ja. He's much better against less shifty players where his strength becomes a factor.

Why wasn't Cam put on Ja? That's my question

Can we talk about the Brunson impact? Last year after our mini fourth quarter run, we go back down 10 in the last two minutes of the fourth…

I feel like we’ll have a chance on any given night with JB

A lot to digest in this game.

Terrible shooting performance by RJ and invisible IQ. Great performance by Randle, Cam, and Brunson.

Just the first game, can't get too high or too low - but it's impressive that we were able to come back and hang with Memphis. Even when they were down double-digits, they never quit versus a top playoff team on their home court.

Yep. It’s so obvious his impact & this was a bad shooting game for him. Very excited.

Sucks that we lost, but I like the fight we showed.

I'm a big RJ guy, but he was a$$ tonight.

On to the next one.
