Kinda sad to see an nba player like Denzel Valentine to fall in this situaiton. But also good to see he is sharing his teammates success.

On the other hand , The Boston Celtics should have signed 10-days contract with Chris clemons instead giving it to Fitts and Martin by then. if they gave the 10 day contrats to other players then whats the point of play for Maine Celtics ? I assume there is no rule against to sign 10-day contracts with G-League players.

This guy has been on fire since the february 10. Since then 4 triple doubles and 3 games with 40+ points and one of them is 52 pts.
Lets not forget he is 5'9

He probably would not get any minutes , since better players are buried on our bench but it would be a motivation to play for your G league team.

Is that the same Clemons who went to central Michigan I think.

Chris Clemons has been killing it! 52 points and 11/20 from three point land. Yes he also had 8 turnovers. I think he could fill a microwave role for some team. Yeah he's micro in size, but he's solid as a brick, and he sure can shoot. If an NBA team doesn't come calling he should consider Europe. Too much talent for the G-League.

Watching Matt Ryan play. He looks good. At G-League level has a nice ability to drive and finish through contact. His 3 point stroke is sweet.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

It looks like Hauser, Stauskas and Ryan are duking it out to make the 22-23 roster as the team's designated long ball specialist.

right now my money is on Hauser.

I think all are still behind Nesmith. In spite of this year's debacle and for no rational reason, I have faith in Nesmith.

But yeah, from those Hauser is already the leader, we've seen he's the next man up in the wing rotation.

Nesmith will be on the team next year unless he gets traded. But he hasn't shown any ability to consistently hit the 3-point shot at the NBA level.

So that leaves room for at least one of Hauser, Stauskas, or Ryan. Maybe two. I also think that Hauser would be the favorite due to his size and effortless shot.

I'm with Particle on Nesmith Island. There's a nice role for him here, and he should have what it takes to fill it, if he can stop air balling shots.

But also "effortless" is the word for Hauser's shot, that thing is beautiful. Hope he sticks around as a developmental piece. Get him into the Jayson Tatum School of Shoulder Building though!

If you want a rational reason to believe in Nesmith, I can offer this: smart, hard working people tend to figure things out. See Grant Williams or Nesmith's mentor Khris Middleton that was once a throw-in in a Brandan Knight trade.

Per Himmelsbach, both Luka Samanic and Denzel Valentine are set to join the team’s Portland-based G League affiliate with a $50,000 bonus awaiting them if they spend at least 60 days with the Maine Celtics. Recently waived wing Brodric Thomas will not join the Maine Celtics; Boston does not hold his draft rights.

Having also added both Roxbury native AJ Reeves and big man Reggie Kissoonlal to Maine’s roster, the Celtics reportedly also plan to add another player via the Exhibit-10 contract that creates the $50,000 bonus for sticking with the team.

My understanding is, that Denzel Valentine is a Returning Player for the Maine Celtics.
Thus, the Boston/Maine Celtics are able to Add 4 other Players, as Affiliates (in addition to Valentine).

Samanic, Reeves, Kissoonlal, Demers, Shayok make five. Five is the new four.
