welp, for some reason no one cares about the Nets this season so i had already planned on going to that game on the 26th.. and now i'll be shooting a free throw after the game on the court. only benefit i've ever been excited about. just took food and beverage credits and a mini blanket for the rest.

On the desktop I’m struggling to get the ticket exchange buying part to work. It keeps spinning on the stadium map page. I was able to get to my tickets fine enough though.

Beer situation is terrible if you don't like Bud like me.

16 oz Spotted Cow was $16.98

Enough to get me to stop drinking at Bucks games

I’ve pretty much quit drinking at Bucks games. Sure I could afford it but seems like highway robbery to me. Better to just have a couple at bar or restaurant before.

It really irks me because the arena was paid with public funds and gifted money. Seems wrong.

Same. Last year we would go to MKE/Central Waters and/or Mecca/Good City beforehand. Usually am driving afterwards anyway so skip buying in the arena. But $17 for a craft and even $13 for a domestic pint is robbery as said. I can get a case for the price of 1-2 pints for christ sake.

Ive never loved the food options at Fiserv either. Chic Fil A usually the safest if the line isnt too long. But usually just stop on way down or eat at MKE. Albeit MKE wont be an option this year sadly…

Seems decent but probably depends on the quality of the items (beanie, blanket etc). No must haves like a piece of the court.

I'm honestly surprised they don't just lean heavily on bobble head days. Feel those are overrated by fans and really draw people in. If I was in charge of marketing I would probably have 5 Giannis bobble head nights for every random Tuesday game versus a bad team. Im surprised lac game has a big giveaway. Feel that a Friday night game against what could be the best team in the west is a sellout regardless.

Never understood the mindset of having to eat at the game. Most games start 7 or 730. Just eat before the game as any food (Kwik trip, Metro market, any bar, etc) is probably better than the arena and half the price. Games are only 2.5 hours, I have zero desire to miss part of it waiting in line for food.

Its not make or break for me either. Sometimes its a time thing with having a longer drive down and wanting something other than fast food, but not having enough time to do a sit down before the game. In those cases sometimes end up buying grub in the arena before the game. I actually always felt the BC had solid options before the game (cheesesteaks, jake deli, usingers stand, Sobelman made to order on 400 level).

Have a feeling there may be some pretty sparse crowds early on. Think alot of season holders didnt renew and not many marquee matchups early on besides Nets, plus Middleton is out.

Agreed, although a stadium hotdog or brat is usually welcome.

But we're diehards, so we want to watch the game and invest our funds into the tickets. 90% of the rest of the crowd considers food and drink a key part of their experience.

Eighth highest beer prices in the league for 16oz.

Pretty ridiculous considering market size

Hopefully with the benefit I picked I will actually get all of those items. The bobbleheads I will probably be able to sell if anything.

I wonder what the rationale is. Is it to curb some of the drunkenness? Know people are gonna buy beer regardless so gouge as much as can? Probably the latter.

They are playing with fire in my opinion. When/if Giannis leaves in a few years there may be less fans than mid 2010s b/c the money grabbing org is pissing off a good chunk of the diehard common fan.

Based on the number of DEALS emails Bucks have sent me in the last 3 days, it appears they are sitting on a lot of inventory for seats to start the year.

The $99 pass deal for first 6 games

Buy One Get One for a handful of the Oct/Nov/Dec games

And now a discounted email for the home opener

I didn't expect tix to drop much below $40 for this Saturday when I pulled the trigger a few days ago, but Bucks have $35 tix with a $10 food/beverage credit in the email I just got

Lesson learned again, wait until the very last minute to buy

7 games, not 6. 1 is home opener (on a Saturday), 1 against the Nets, 3 more weekend games and 2 Pistons games (1 is a promotion night). It is a hell of a deal.

I'll be legit upset with no Busch Light.

I know we recently talked about STH getting a pro shop discount not being standard, but i did see that if you have & use a BMO Harris card that you get a 20% discount. Assume there are restrictions but still a decent discount if have a BMO card.

“New for this season, BMO customers that use their BMO credit or debit card at checkout will now receive a 20% discount on their Bucks Pro Shop purchase.”

My wife and I are heading down to MKE and we like checking out microbreweries. Any recommendations of good/bad around downtown area? There are so many new ones that have popped up since the days we would regularly visit MKE. Obviously we’ve been to like Lakefront, Good City by Fiserv, MKE (all closed now). I think the only others Ive been to have been Central Waters and Broken Bat (old location though). Im leaning towards checking out like Mobcraft, Indeed, and Wizard something which are all in Third/Fifth Ward area. I did see some farther south (enlightened, etc) and then a couple (City Lights, Third Space) near Menom Valley too. Mostly into something with a good vibe and variety of choices. Food isn’t necessary.

FYI Lakefront and Good City aren't closed. MKE was bought by Eagle Park but the taproom on 9th was bought by someone else. Their Milwaukee Ale House though has closed. I like Black Husky and 1840.
