With all of these exhibit 10 deals to actual NBA players if everything goes right Iowa may be able to compete with the Spurs.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Re: Iowa Wolves/G League talk
In past seasons, I've never gotten the impression that the Iowa Wolves were really making all that much effort to put together a winning team. It always felt like a wasted opportunity since developing guys on a team that is successful seems like a much better idea than trying to develop guys on teams that just aren't very good. Based on the potential talent that could be playing in Iowa, I'm somewhat hopeful that things will be different this year.
One thing I'd love to see is for the Iowa Wolves to pick up a developmental center who can play drop coverage. Having the Iowa team play a similar style of defense to the NBA squad seems like it would be really useful.

Funny we supposedly lost so much depth on the Gobert trade and we have guys not likely to make team or be in Iowa that we would’ve begged for to be on the bench in years past. I feel like the Barea years were if we could have found 20 pts total from our bench we’d have been good

Just saw this https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thegazette.com/iowa-basketball/jordan-bohannon-signs-with-nba-g-leagues-iowa-wolves/%3famp=1
Side note, can anyone tell me the best way to watch Iowa games? Are they normally televised? Is it more about streaming on YouTube or another website?

I haven't watched for a few years, but they still should usually be available to watch for free on the team website. Sometimes games can be on ESPN+, NBA TV, or Twitch as well.

I'll be curious to see if Lawson, Dozier, or Elleby end up in Iowa as well. With Moore, Minott, Garza, and Paschall all likely to spend time with the G-League club the team should be fairly decent for once.

I could be wrong but I believe Lawson may not be going there since he was waived off of a two-way while Dozier, Elleby, Mudiay, Lewis, and Wheeler all should be heading there.

My understanding is Lawson is in NO WAY affiliated with the Timberwolves of either Minnesota or Iowa. We could sign him (assuming he is willing,) but so can anyone else.

Re: Iowa Wolves/G League talk
My guess is Dozier is only around until he gets healthy and can show it on the court. At that point the Wolves will probably have to give him a roster spot or lose him from the organization.
While it lasts, a team with Mudiay, Dozier, Moore, Minott, and Garza should make for some really fun games down in Iowa.

Of course not. Why would he be?

I thought he was playing G League basketball. I thought maybe he had to participate in the Gleague draft to get on a team.

Victor's French team played against the G League Ignite team in the preseason as an exhibition game. He is not in the G League nor will he ever play a minute in the G League.
